Hello all .. its my first post but have found the site very helpfull so far ... i was checking on my friends plants and find myself stumped .. to Maney variables to much info .. need a fresh set of eyes on this

Lights ... 4 florescents about 200 total
strain... animal cookies from bcbuddepot (quick delivery and good service .. only four planted so far and all grew fast and strong)

nutrients... 25 7 7 mixed brands
plant age... 5 week from seed
temp... 78 constant
humidity... 55 to 60
grown in soil 50 50 vermiculite mix and
watered once a week from bottled spring water with half power nutrients. The pots are big and drain well

As all four plants get all the same treatment I can't figure out what's wrong with her one trouble maker

Problem one . Mysterious hole in one leaf No pests or pets apparent

problem two bottom leaf turning yellow and one node up drying around the edge moving inward

problem three it is the only plant with red stems

The first two pics are of all four plants the second and third pics are the problem shots

.. I think she may have over fertilized or mixed her nutrients wrong so i gave them a good flush

I have a water ph tester from a aquarium store but still have no idea how to test her soil ph .. Most posts say run off water testing is no good .. I brought her a 400 light to get them growing faster , she has good 1000 mh lights for flowering

They don't look bad at all. Could probably use some more light as they seem to be stretching a bit. Nute mix is pretty high in N. I would use a more balanced fertilizer. If you want simple just get some Dyna gro Foliage Pro 9-3-6 and forget about it. It will grow beautiful plants from start to finish in soil based containers.

workinit is dead on with the nute ratio and dyna gro (phenomenal product). your ratio is very high in Nitrogen. however your plants do look pretty healthy. my only advice would be to not mix different brands unless you used them separately during different feedings

example: if you're using Brand X today, then only use brand X. if you want to use something else, then wait until the next feeding. The reason for this is that you don't really know how they formulate their solution to get to their NPK ratio. Some nutrients may react with another and form precipitates. this could cause lock outs and all types of other problems.

Thanks for the nutrient advise workinit I will get some asap Dboi87 I can just give them water for the next weeks until they go into the big pots after I sex them, would that be a good time to change my nutrients, just looking to get one or 2 good stable mothers for now .. and The one plant is almost dead .. The leaves got dark green and blotchy and even with the new lights there has been no new growth .. The others took off right away and seem great .. Rob333 lol lol .. let's hope they are all ladies .. I was obsessing and watering and freaking out but I realize I should just sit back and watch em grow .. thanks again
