well actually she might be older i picked her up from a buddy she was already sprouted and had her first leaves he may have been growing her for a while not sure this is what she looked like about 3 weeks ago. yours looks good though watch if she is anything like mine she will hit a nice growth spurt how are you planning on growing her out.

wow, did not but skim thru the posts but saw all the peeps helping with good info...

I bring up what you did to get where you are, like you said, plant was not well rooted and fed late, in rock and hydro once you have first true node you need to start feed. Lesson for your next run bro.

You can and will bring this one around but cost you 2 weeks at least...

green: I'm still not sure how long to veg her for. I've heard that widows can grow 2x or 3x taller when flowering and I grow in a 7 feet growtent so I'm thinking will start flowering as soon as it hits around 2 feet height. What do you suggest from your experience? perhaps topping them or LST will allow me to veg longer?

choempi: yeah, reading about growing and actually growing are two different ball games. There is so much to be learnt, so much to be read that I feel like I'm back in uni XD

well from my experience the biggest one i have had in flower was 10 inches and she got right at 2 feet finished here is a pic little less than 2 ounces off her so at 2 feet you may have some height probs. lst or topping her may be a good idea i have never topped one they all finish at about the same height for me with little to no veg time.

wow so they do indeed double in height. 2 ounces off a 2 feet plant is nice man. Do you start flowering after they have alternating nodes?

o ya they do. the original mom was from seed waited till she was mature and had alternating nodes now all my plants are just clones so they are already very ready at anytime after rooting so they all have alternating nodes now.

OK, I'm in my first rockwool grow and it was suggested I soak overnight in 5.0 ph. I did and set clones. Over attention can at times not be a good thing. Good luck man!

High guys! How r y'all? Thanks to all your great advices, the 2 babies are looking strong and healthy. The larger one has grown quite abit since that day and i spied one tiny root hair poking through the bottom of the rockwool for the smaller one. For the past 3 days while the larger one has grown quite rapidly though, the smaller one seems to not have grown at all. They are both fed the the same nutes solutions though the larger more often due to its big appetite. What do u guys think? Are there any explanations why they can show such different growth rate??

are you still talking about the seedlings rizou? seeds (even from the same batch) have slightly different genetics im guessing, at some basic and fundamental level. i have had plenty of seeds from the same nugget produce so differently i swear they were not related at all.

They're called phenotypes...I believe my man Gregor Mendel pioneered reseach on this subject, and through the use of punnett squares you can map the dominant and recessive traits of parent plants...Marijuana traits are hereditary and are not combined, but passed down intact, so depending on the way the genetics line up you can figure out how you need to breed certain phenotypes together to bring out recessive traits.
