Dilemma...How does one retain a variety of favorite strains without constantly buying seeds? I have been contemplating how to graft, and performed some unsuccessful experiments. I soon realized this was not going to be a viable option.
Once I started using DWC I realized that two or more clones rooted in a single neoprene insert and grown butt up against each other might just do the trick. The experiment has already begun, and roots are starting to develop. The qualms I have heard are nutrient and light competition, and possible mold issues.
Now with Deep Water Culture I have no doubt that nutrient competition is impossible. Constant trimming would be necessary to stunt growth of taller strains, to prevent light competition, and also to simply limit general growth to prevent rampant root development. It could be a tiny multi-bush. Doesn't that sound wonderful?
I would love some ideas and constructive criticism. Thanks Jedis of the smoke.
