Try that or even reduce the time of each cycle.Maybe I'll cut out one of the flood cycles...
How many would you do for a ebb and flow... I'm doing 5 floods right now each day
The mothers need less Nitrogen but we're not going to go crazy here and deplete all sources for a couple of reasons---1. We need the N in the clones to support growth. 2. Your mother still needs a balanced diet. 3. were going to do a couple different types of cloning methods that are fastOk yeah I thought so just thought I'd ask ya first being they got over watered, from when I added the lime to my cups.
I checked ph from the run off and its looking WAY better and is closer to 6.5 now so thanks on the lime heads up.Seems to have worked like a charm.I'm still trying to find out more on the strains and will get back to ya.Thanks again for all yer help.looks like the weather is gonna break some this week so will get down to the hydro store for more supplies and soil.
Have one more question if ya don't mind:
I'll be getting fox farm ocean forest soil and was wondering are we gonna transplant into bigger pots BEFORE we clone or after? O/f is pretty hot with N and wondering if that's ok when taking clones? I know we need less N or the clones will take longer to root so will o/f be to hot if close to cloning time?
I have two of the same bubble stones in a 1 gal bucket and still don't think it's enough air.

H2o2 would have taken care of that problem.
B1 with micro chealeted nutes/sea kelp.I don't know if you answered this already, but what does that mild transplant solution consist of? I think I'm going to transfer to the bigger pots, let them have a couple of days to recover and resume growth, and then take cuttings.
I use the same light. You can add more floro's or purchase the T5'--they come in a variety of configurations--1/2/4/6/8 bulb all in 24" or 48". How big you grow your plants will determine the light configuration you need--I have an 8bulb-48" and a 4bulb 24". If your plants will take up all the space of a 24"x48" then you will need a 6 or 8bulb 48".great class btw,
is there a difference between the lighting you used for the seedlings under the humid-dome and the lighting you used once you took the humid-dome covers off? or did you use the same Wal-Mart cfl's you mentioned earlier for both stages?
the best option i have near me are the T5 or T8 plant/aquarium fluorescent lights from Home Depot. i was planning on using these for approx. the first two weeks of seedling into vegging. is that ok?
also, how many lights (T5's or T8's) will i need to provide ample lighting for 10 or 12 plants? thanks for all the great info
