Only FOUR days old but already has a red stem?

Could this just be from the soil I used being too hot or since it's occurring so early is it just a natural pheno of the plant?

As long as your environment is right and the plant is otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry about the stem color. Sometimes it happens with lower temps too. Pics would help.

Genetics most likely. I doubt a 4 day old plant is even taking up nutrients yet let alone showing a deficiency.

Also, I don't use domes on seedlings. I like the soil to dry out faster as the little root system can't use the water fast enough. If the soil stays too damp it'll lead to root rot. Also, without a dome the seedling will be stronger.

Thank you, Its my first try ever growing but I wasn't intending to start for a much longer period of time. I have literally no place to put the plant once it starts getting decently big, no grow Lights, none of the supplies that I really need and very low money You'd say it's a struggle lol. All I have is a bag of miracle grow and that one seed I found in my grinder. We'll see if I can get this to pan out

Also I heard somewhere the humidity is good for them but I may be getting confused with clones, would the same protocol for clones not apply to a sapling?

All in all, as with a lot of the info you'll find here, it depends.
