Ontario growers!!!

I hear around May 24 weekend is a good time for ontario growers to transplant outdoors thats when im planning on doing it

Hmm, i also hear that April 20 is a good time to plant lol. when is everyone planning on planting/transplanting to outdoors?

Last year last frost date was april 29th, but i will be wating 2nd week of may i think. i will throw 12-18" clones outdoor so they should be monsters.

April is a good time to start seeds or clone indoor .... i already took all my cuttings for the outdoor grow....

Hey guys, nice to see lots of Ontarioans around! I'm growing (50) ss Early Bud, (12) Hash Plant, (12) Skunk, (10) K.C. 42, & (11) Skunk x Jamacain, I also have 13 seeds of XXX 420 but the strain is unstable as I figured out last year...so probably won't bother with them, Starting indoors this weekend and won't be planting until May 24 w/end or the weekend after...

Don't palnt on 4/20 it is just too early around here

that's an autoflowering strain, you might want hold off on starting them so early, I'd wait till the end of April with that one.

YEP! That's what I figured I won't be starting them for a bit yet, I also have some bagseed that actually turned out great last year, it was almost neon purple when it was done

i gotta find a place outdoors for the summer I've never grown outdoors before

I have no way of starting seedlings indoors, so i'm probably gonna start them in beer cups and put them out a little early.

Usually id start indoor 420, and put outside may 24, but this year iam starting inside a little early, planning on doing 20 or so bag seed, wish i could get to a seed bank, but live to far away(2 hours north of toronto, any seed banks near by?), and dont trust mail orders, also are there any seed banks in ottawa area? My brothers comming up from there

Hey all, I'm also hoping for a good outdoor year. I'm not in Ontario, but I'm over a couple provinces in NS. I have lots of seeds, mothers, and cuttings going. Here are all the strains I've chosen this year:

Lethal Purple - Mother (definitely a producer)
Mountain Bud - Mother
Fast Girl - Mother
Ambrosia - 10 seeds (not a big producer, didn't start any mothers)
Himalaya Gold - Feminized
Mama Mia - Feminized
Nemesis - Feminized
The Church - Feminized
Big Bang - Feminized
A.M.S. (Anti Mold System) - Feminized

and however much bag seed I feel like starting.. I'm in for a full time job for 6 months =) All finished in early-mid September

Hey, havent been here in a while. I posted a few years ago but took a break. Is FDD still around?
Okay so I was just curious as to everubody's methods/techniques for corn-field growing. I have a successful system which i will share with you, but just wondering if any of you have any suggestions, or anyone shares my '2 visit' techique.
So basically, I veg my plants for 2 months starting in april under 4 75w flouros.with my 44 Hash Plant clones, I work mainly on getting upper growth, and lateral growth starting about a foot up.
I mix 25/25/50 perlite, vermiculite, and soil for my pots.
After 2 months of veg, I plant them in the cow-corn, once the corn is about knee high. the key part to my technique is the fact that i strip all the lower branches, and sink the plant over a good foot into the ground. This way the lower stalk grows roots, and I do not have to visit them until harvest. Even during dry spells they are sunk deep enough to get water.
Keep in mind I am in ontario so i dont know if this works for everyone. Any suggestions or similar growers?
