Ontario seed banks help...

Hey I'm looking for recommendations as to where I can purchase seeds. Looking for a wide variety of breeders and selection. I have used Niagara seed bank for years and they're pretty good. But I want to broaden my horizons. I was looking at xotic seeds and it seemed pretty good too. I checked out Pacific seed bank but that's about as far as I got. Anyone got suggestions ? Where do you order from ?

DrSeeds.net is someone to try. I just grew their Moby Dick (which they no longer have) and am enjoying it and have a clone of her outside. They were fast for shipping, even during the pandemic and cool tin art for all strains. Downside is no real freebie seeds with orders and not a huge selection since they are the only breeder. Truenorthseedbank.com which have a much better breeder selection to pick from, some good deals on Canuk Seeds most of the time, some freebie seeds, and Ontario located. Bad thing is that prices can be so-so sometimes but have had AMAZING deals every now and then. Valentines Day 2 years ago, they had all seeds from all breeders at 70% off. Doubt we will see that again but I always hold out hope. Now their shipping when I first started buying for them was super fast and got some in a week to 10 days. Last 2-3 orders have been closer to a month+ in receiving and only 1 was during Covid. I haven’t used them but people seem to like cropkingseeds.com as well

CoastalMary seeds is fantastic. Great support and service. Are you in the GTA? If so you are good with Xotic seeds in Brampton, you can actually walk into that place. I would stay away from TNSB, they are such a rippoff. They have good selection but their prices are double Xotic and Seedsmans prices for the exact same seeds. Total price gougers that I refuse to deal with ever again. How they can justify charging over double what all other places do for the same seeds is beyond me but it has cost them a ton of business.

That is correct I am. Thanks I think I will try out xotic as they have the breeders I'm looking for.

Perfect, I like Xotic as it is in Brampton and you can get breeder pack seeds in store. Coastal Mary is in BC but they have been super good to me. Tons of freebies, free grinders and fast shipping. I point everyone that way just by their track record.

Nice good to hear. I just checked out their website and looked good. My only thing is I didn't see any breeders I was looking for... Dna, Barneys, exotic,...

No, they have their own strains which they breed such as Hellfire and such. I got some Blimburn seeds from them that are really cool as well. I just checked Xotic as well as their partners GrowersParadise and both their web sites seem to have been taken down. HMMM, that's not good. You may want to give them a call and see if they are still there. Worst case scenario Seedsman is a reliable place. If really stuck I suppose you could go with TNSB, I hate dealing with anyone that rips people off so bad but it is a last option if they have something you really want in a hurry.

Ya I spoke with xotic and they are in the middle of working on their webpage. It was up earlier this afternoon. Still doing curb side pickup and website will be back up shortly. I don't think I'll ever use TNSB because I've heard to much negativity. Niagara is expensive too but the owner Rick has always been good to me. So I'll probably keep my business there for now. Thanks for all your support and help.

Canadaseedz is out of Ontario and has good selection of genetics available from quality breeders.
