ooops,,a clone

I havn't a clue in what I'm doin,,I didn't plan on cloning at all on my first grow but I was watering the other day,,and snapped a lower branch,,,so I got a straight blade,,and cut it a lil higher than the break at a 45 degree angle,,stuck it in water and changed the water daily,,here it is at 3 days exactly,,don't know whats gonna happen,,,but it's off a female,would be cool if it makes it

good luck mate. i accidently chopped one of my leafs off when i was cloning but no major damage thank god.

Hey there hole. I'd say you've got a good chance of it rooting.

For the future though, what you should do is get some rooting hormone. It comes in powder and liquid/gel form. Gel is the best. Just dip the cutting in it, and place in soil. Maybe put a sandwhich baggie over it the first few days.

The method of cloning you're using is ok, but it's more elemntary school style. For good water cloning, you'd want an airstone attached to an air-pump to aerate the water, and an aquarium heater. Basically you need a fish tank without the gravel and fancy stuff. Put it all in a small rubbermaid container, and boom you've got yourself a water/bubbler cloner.
