Open Show and Tell 2020

How do you spell "thrive?"

It looks so lush there. How much rain do you get in a typical year?

Are those orange flowers poppies?

Those plants going to outgrow the stakes by August 1?

We get about 35 inches of rain and like 136 inches of snow as an average. And lol thanks.... btw those are tiger lilies
And I dont know if the jelly pies will to tell you the truth. Not a VIGOROUS grower as far as vegetation... but I'm pretty sure the rest of them will before they are in full swing by mid aug.

It must be nice living somewhere that’s not in the middle of a drought and heat wave, although I bet you’re not loving the bugs and humidity up there. Half of my family is from Michigan and I know all too well what it’s like out there right now. I have to flood the garden every day with the hose. I think I’ve found my outdoor strain for next year though. This is another one from GPS — TK x purple punch AKA rum runner. The only plant in my tent that hasn’t shown any heat stress. Mid way through week seven and still piling on calyxes. She’s thriving and chunking out like crazy and the tent is getting into the 90s even with my constant air replacement. I can’t cool my grow room worth a fuck because I have a shitty evap cooler for central air and my circuits won’t handle a refrigeration unit in there. I’ve gotta select the right phenos, and this one can handle the heat. It’s gotta be the triangle kush that has her adapted so well to this hot summer weather. Can’t wait to run her outdoors.

And one more, although it’s not weed. ~2 year old peyote grafted onto Pereskiopsis spathulata. Was about the size of a pea, and the only surviving tip on a rotten cutting that was mailed to me by another cactus enthusiast in Alaska, when I grafted it. Another year and I should be able to start propagating. It would be cool to use the same rootstock for all the grafts and do a little peyote bonsai, and that’s sort of my goal.

I love growing cacti. I have a huge bridgesii that bloomed for the first time last year, and I grew the little San Pedro next to it from seed. I’m just hoping that peyote starts pupping soon so I can do some more grafts. When it does finally bloom though I can’t wait to sprout and graft all those seeds.

Can I just have a bite of the bottom left NUGG? please, I just need one good trip/vacationfromreality.... LOL

Ok this might be a dumb question. And I already know your in 100 gallon and maybe plus. But how do the trunks get so thick in just a couple months? Yes I only grow in small containers. But your soil recipe seems to be killin it GG420! What's your secret :D
Honestly I think it's just the size pots they go in. Like this yr they are not nearly as thick but they are still decent

Update from Maine, things are moving along nicely. The two MOBs have started to flower, the rest are a lot like me still vegging. The next couple months should be interesting.
