Open Show and Tell 2020

Do you dry your bud with the fan leafs? And im intriged about the peroxide wash
Yes. Only took the biggest shade leaves off, washed, hung outside for a few hours until the water had all dried, then hung in dark tent. Too hard to do a tight trim at harvest date when dealing with more than a pound...actually bought a bowl trimmer to save my almost 60 year old hands...

Thanks for the replie i apreciate it! I just sprayed my badazzcheeze with enzymes and will be doing the bud washing! How are u liking the bowl trimmer ? I was going to invest just cant seem to find the time to trim for 3 -4 days straight.

I was pleasantly surprised. Hand wet trimming a 4x4 tent harvest indoors is one thing, harvesting pounds of huge outdoor buds over a few weeks is another story...
It did a good job of clearing most of the shade and sugar leaves, without eating too much into the bud itself. You clip the buds off the stalk, and the 18” model I got could do a couple oz worth of fresh cut bud with about 15 revolutions with a hand crank. Super easy. Then the stainless steel bowl collects all the cuttings for huge amounts of useable trim.
You do need to tidy up the buds a bit if you want to get rid of all leaf, but it is a huge time saver and hand/fingers saver if you are trying to trim lots of bud by yourself. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Posted a pine tar kush back who knows when in this thread (found it, post 290), well here it is today, not much care, water and some salt ferts. I took cuts of it to run inside but had to trash them, wasn’t ready to run in time. The only plant from seed I put outside this year, rest were clones and tops off my hydro.

You do a bud wash despite being in a cleaner Wisconsin environment? It's some of the cleanest environment in the world up here and wondering what the bud wash benefits are considering I have tens of plants and not a large team to do it with.
We have lots of pollen and bugs and dirt. The water turned a bit brown from it. I decided to do it because I remember a few yrs ago trying to shake out some kief out of my dry trim and I would start sneezing and have an allergy attack every time. Same as when all the flowers are in bloom.

This takes care of that.

My children in their respective tents
The big girls in the 2’x2’x5’7” 9days into flowering under the scrog. Only hung Mars Hydro 3days ago, just got it Monday . Strains unknown, both probably hybrids. One more Sativa Dominant and one more Indica. The Veg/autoflower tent 3’x3’x6’, with a very very bushy 10wk clone of the Indica dominant from the 2x2 tent. 1of each of 4 different strains of auto flower seedlings age ranging from 7-10 days from germination. Blueberry, Cheese, Royal Dwarf and Tangie-matic. And a Thai Chilli plant and Ghost chilli plant hanging out in back corner lol
For lighting the 2x2 has 1 Mars Hydro Ts1000 and the 3x3 has 1 Growstar 1200w with quad Cree Cobb leds and 1 Growstar 600w with duel Cree Cobb leds
