I have rooted rose cuttings several different ways including tip rooting.I've already spent the time looking into it and have read the suggested passage . I asked because they are part of the same family as roses. I thought there may be some personal experience out there and not just regurgitated literature . Have you ever rooted a raspberry cutting? Have you rooted a rose cutting? Thanks. Appreciate any "tips" (pun intended)
I've cut off a piece of the rose bush and put the cutting close to the roots of the mother and the theory is moms roots will stimulate roots to the cutting. There is the baggie method.... Rose propagation greenhouses put them in heavy perlite and soil with misting for 10 seconds every 5 minutes...
And, no, I've never rooted a raspberry cutting but propagation is propagation, imho. YMMV.
