Are there any good open-source led light controller projects? I have a few arduino and raspberry pi boards laying around i would like to put to use while saving a few bucks.
LmaoPut the bong down Dabby.
Cool thanks ! Is there any documentation /blog on this somewhere?Try this open source code for arduino using an Adafruit i2c lcd with buttons simple effective six different schedules one for each channel
Cool! With TC420s not being super expensive
Thanks , nice optionI was going to suggest using the ESP-8266 which can be piggybacked for the Bluetooth, but now most just use it standalone as a DIY controller w/Bluetooth etc...although it has an updated version now
Not too hard, depending on your coding....
Yes. In the code and I am the programmer giving away the code. Others have compiled and used the code successfully. Pinouts are in code for six pwm channels. Regarding relays and on off I have a thread on that here for the controllerCool thanks ! Is there any documentation /blog on this somewhere?
Cool , i have contributed to a few projects on github. Ill have a look and give it a try. ThanksYes. In the code and I am the programmer giving away the code. Is there a guide to build this for people new to arduino, or at least a list of the parts needed? I need to control cobs, photo red and far red individually with dimming and timing.https://github.com/AvidLerner/GrowGreen

I ended up buying a Blue fish LED controller. Is there a guide to build this for people new to arduino, or at least a list of the parts needed? I need to control cobs, photo red and far red individually with dimming and timing.
I guess I'll bite the bullet I've come so far already. Im putting 9 cxm-22, 24 cree cx-b photo reds and 16 cx-b far reds in a 4x4. I haven't nailed uv-a yet but That will come too. Are you running the PRs all day and the FRs only after lights off for 15 minutes? The blueish seems like it would be the easiest thing to mount on the rapidled canopy substrate too.I ended up buying a Blue fish LED controller.
I use http://www.powerswitchtail.com to turn the lights on and off and use 3 channels to dim and Ramp the lights. I have 3 channels of control and a live video link .
6 vero 29 (4 3500 and 2 3000)
32 cree (26 photo red - 6 far red )
1 far red puck
Tested it out yesterday and everything works as planned . All I have to do is clean up the wiring and finish installing all the automation on the mounting board. (Excuse the wire mess)
Yeah everything is being mounted to the railsAre you mounting your drivers inside the tent ?
I ended up moving my drivers outside the tent. The amount of heat they produced was unreal.Yeah everything is being mounted to the rails
