thanks for the comments and rep. Let me know if you also are starting a journal that I can follow the progress of. I'd like to see your growshow.
Thing is with these tents if you have the can/fan in the tent it takes up a lot of space, which would be ok if you were vegging or cloning in it but seeing as I am flowering in it I put the ventilation outside.

In the picture where you see the tent, there is a shelf above it. On that shelf is a carbon scrubber/filter and a canfan style fan suitable for tents this small or maybe up to 1 square metre, i can't remember the cfm stats.
anyways the fan is blowing into the filter, which muffles the sound quite a bit keeping my bedroom relatively quiet. the ducting goes into the tent where air is being sucked out of and forced into the filter.

the downside of this method is that the carbon prefilter (white outside of filter) isn't being optimally used as air is being forced into the carbon scrubber instead of being sucked out of the scrubber, see. So what we have is not optimal use of ventilation for lifespan of the filter, but just as efficient. Some people say you can clog the pores this way, but I'll just clean the inside between grows and mix the carbon around, at least that's the plan.

the actual fan in the picture is inside a shitty project muffler box that I made. actually in reality the muffler works fine and isn't all that shitty, it just doesn't fit the space so the box is not sealed. i made the box to muffle the sound to keep it on the DL. it will fit the fan perfectly when i find a new grow space. Hoping to get the med-card and grow it at my friends house legally once I get the dr approval, this shit takes forever though, they make you jump through hoops and try to get you to just give up.

Man, I've grown 3 of those 4 strains...SAGE by TH Seeds is outdoors, getting harvested Monday, and I have a Grapefruit Krush from Emerald Triangle growing indoors, harvesting it monday or tuesday. I've also grown Kushage before...Last December-Feb if I remember correctly...All three that I've grown were winners, but the Grapefruit Krush is something I'd happily grow again.

I'm happy with all my babes so far, glad to hear you had good results. GK is totally looking good, the plant so far that has the strongest growth is Emerald Jack. I'll do my best to make a smoke report after all the journal is complete

Update 13/10/11
-side branches are really starting to reach laterally for light, trying to get out from under those fan leaves
-still no sign of sex in the past week, neither for me, my gf being out of town, nor my plants
-switched light to 250 HPS, gotta love that spectrum it gives off
-switched to a 90/10 mix of flowering/veg nutes as my goal is to let my babes adapt to flowering in a more evolutionary homeostatic adaptation instead to increase production and decrease stress
-might have over fed them, but they are not showing signs of much stress, need to make sure I'm gradually increasing the nute levels relative to plant/root size, was in a hurry
-will update pics when sex starts to show... for the plants that is...

still trying to get home before my lights turn off so I can take pics, they're filling out a bit! Stay tuned! Meanwhile, Occupy the streets my friends!

Update: tomorrow is the end of the first week of flowering, pistils are showing (very tiny, coming through slowly) on grapefruit kush and kushage

so they are showing signs of pistil explosion, there is very little growth of plant matter now other than the pistils. I am trying to keep the light close because I don't want any stretch, I still have 5 weeks plus to go and don't want them too tall for the tent. I'm hoping they stay somewhat short, dense and compact and give me a really good personal supply

haven't really had a lot of people follow this so I haven't been encouraged to keep updating but things are still looking up and hoping to get 2 ounces or so. I will post pics preharvest and postharvest ...

I have cropped grapefruit kush, it will probably yield about a half ounce, the others will be another week or so.. I will post pictures when and if people start showing interest
