And lawngnome is right. We as potheads need to educate ourselves. We must dispell this myth, this stereotype, that we are unproductive morons who will never achieve success.

How many students do we have out there?
How many doctors? Lawyers? Politicians?
How many teachers are here? How many mothers and fathers?
Who here is someone's son or daughter? Someone's best friend?
Who here is someone's mailman?
Where are you financial consultants and bankers?
Those who build our homes, those who lay our streets, speak up!

Bring forward to the table that we are not strangers and outcasts. We are your neighbors and your friends and family.

I am a student of medicine. I study Clinical Lab Sciences and work for a car wash. I have a family and a future, and I hope to help make that future a place where more smiles are seen, more hands are shaken, and more peace signs are waved. We as a people are not bound together by race or creed, or gender or class, or any ambiguous chain, but by a bond of beliefs and convictions. That we hold true our right to happiness and invite our brothers and sisters to join us in a crusade for a more free world!
