Hey all! I know I've been off for a while and a lot of you probably don't even remember last year's thread "Operation Overgrow: Success Report Thread", but I thought I'd give those of you who do an update. As described, I planted about 90 seeds in some fields, wilderness areas, and off the beaten path near hiking trails. The main section I chose to concentrate my efforts on was a field with a river and marshland running through it. My best plants that survived unattended were right on the area where the soil was moist enough to support the plants constantly, but not so much as to drown the poor things.
Anywho, I stumbled upon some monsters from that planting at the end of the summer and they were ALL FEMALE... except for one that was sitting in a bushy area next to yet another female. What this meant for me was plenty of fine sensimilla for me and just one seedy plant that I pulled a corncob sized bud off of and picked 224 seeds out of a few weeks later. The rest of the plant was left alone.
So I walked back through that same field today and to my delight... the Marijuana is growing free now! I was only able to find some very wild looking ganja in the same area as the mother and father plants, but it is competing quite nicely with the local flora. So things on my end at least were a success for last year's Operation Overgrow. I'm inspired to try again this year
Anybody else see the fruit of their attempt to free sensi??? Pictures to follow in the coming weeks
