Opinion on this LED light.

Hi RIU I'm seeking a little help.
The Light In Question
I own this 200 watt light (paid $90) and I'm curious to know if it'll be powerful enough to run multiple plants with?

And if not would it be ok if I were to buy another to run alongside it? At the $90 price tag or look for something else to run with it?

Tent setup reference

4x4 tent
Autos 4-7 in 5gallon pots
In FFOF/perlite mix
First Grow

It's not a great light, and no where enough to fill up a 4x4. I would buy something else to help fill up the space light. Buying another one would be a poor investment.

Thanks for the reply. So I already own one (still in its box) and paid less than $90 for it, same case would be for the 2nd one if that makes a difference at all. (Added to OP)

You need closer to 450watts for that space, assuming that the light is decent. It's an unknown name light, so it's a bit questionable already. $90 is nice and cheap, but you also get what you pay for.

Which one are you looking at? You mention $90. The cheapest is $109 and would barely do a 2x2. The QB2000 which is the one that pops up when we click your link is $179. That QB2000 is not good enough for a 4x4 by itself. You will need a bare minimum of 2 of them. 2 of the QB3000 would be better.... I use a 260W HLG Quantum LED for a 2x4 and it could use more...

The correct light is linked above which is the QB2000. The $90 price tag comes into play with a 50% off promo code I could use towards it. Yes, I honestly knew it probably wouldn't be strong enough alone despite the claims in the title. So that's why I asked for everyone's opinion. Like @PJ Diaz mentioned above I should be trying to get closer to 450 watts as possible. Also the QB3000 literally just got released about 3 hours ago on amazon.

You need arpund 35w per square foot, expect a around 6 sq feet of decent coverage. Abit more if your vegging or doing autos.

You could just get away with 2 of these in a 4x4, but with 3 of em u would be on the money..

You mean if I were to use just the single light right? I really was hoping I would be able to just add a couple cob lights but that doesn't seem like it'll help much either.

If budget is your concern, skip LEDs until you have the cash to get a GOOD one. A 600 watt HPS is $129, you already have a 4x4 tent which is perfect. You'll be banging out the best buds possible until you can afford a high end LED. Good luck!

Way underpowered, only 100+-3 so 97-103? I have 2kingbrite 240w 3500k and a Mars hydro TS 600 at 570w and I think I’m underpowered. 4x4x 80” tent growing 4 photos in 4gal buckets=3.5 gal soil. Sorry to be the rain cloud. You could get another of those lights and maybe only grow a couple in the footprint of the light until you added on...

Working within the budget is definitely a big factor atm. Trying to work within a budget is actually what made me believe LEDs were the best choice. I think a buddy of mine uses hps and he gets crazy results. I'll look into it after my first grow.

Hes right only 2 plants for that light is all id put under it.

Two under that light will do good. Just grow in the light footprint and you’ll be fine. If the light is for 2ftx2ft then use that space in your 4x4.
