Does anyone have any opinions on SD Hydro? Good, Bad? Not really liking my current store and want to do some upgrades in the fall.

Grassroots is my current store. The one in Temecula is closer, but the one in L.E. is better stocked. Really not happy with the prices though-especially for lighting which is what I'm looking for right now. I use them for incidentals mainly and am looking for better prices on more major purchases like lights and reflectors. Anyone else I should check out in the SD or SWRC area?

I didn't like the vibe in grassroots at all man. Went to the one literally 1/4 a mile from my house and shit just felt weird.

Now I go to hydro4less on jefferson for basic stuff and nutes...and if i'm going to purchase big ticket items i go into discount hydro in riverside and have them price match BGhydro's prices. Got them to come down from like 450 to 280 on my ballasts.

The location in Riverside is pretty sweet too. I bought a 150W HPS setup that was advertised for $90 on their site and got it for $70. They also have a decent selections of nutes too.

I understand what you're saying about the vibe at grassroots. I've tried hydro4less, but was not really impressed with the selection there. I haven't checked out discount hydro yet, I'll look them up.

Are you talking about discount hydro? That's like a 23% discount-I could go for that!

Thanks for the info. I checked out discount hydro on the web and it looks like they carry some products that the stores around here don't. I'll check it out in person in the next week or so. It's closer to me than SD hydro.
