opinions and advice on this 400w self ballast HPS

Hey everyone, I picked up this HPS 400 on ebay for $1.00.
They didn't actually want the dollar so I got it for free.
It looks old. Still works and turns on and lights up.
The bulb that came with it has two tubes inside and you can barely see, only one seems to light up.

Any ideas if this is normal, first time growing and I don't know anything about HPS.
I have 1x130cfl for veg at 6 weeks atm roughly and I wanna flower with
It's also pretty heavy I'm gonna guess about 8 kg but I could be wrong.
Can I hang this off my tent poles without it breaking the poles?

Any ideas would be great. I have a back up 130w 2700k CFL incase I can't use this but I really would like some peace of mind.

I'll just quickly add the inner tubes looks identical and no signs of blowing, that I can identify as a noob.

how are your wiring skills i think i would try and add some sjo cable to the mogel and hang it in your tent with the ballast set off to one side

i'd just change the bulb if I were you. 20 bucks.

(Ok just got a bulb $28 Thnx) And I guess I am very noob at wiring. I destroyed a perfectly good desk lamp yesterday trying to get the CFL component outta it. But I could have a look.

If I don't re wire, do u reckon this thing would hold up in a 1x1x2 m tent?

Yeah, the bulb looks like it's fucked. Just switch it out and you should be good to go. I'm using a 400W in a 1.2x1.2x2.0m grow tent and it's more than enough light for my 4 plants.
