Hi
I am planing a light using 10 Bridgelux Gen7 Vero 29 cobs ( 37.7V 4.2A max) on two 40" X 5.886" heatsinks from Heatsink USA. 12.312" X 40" = 1612 sq. in. at 17 sq"/ Watt these should be good for 95W. These will be driven by two Meanwell HLG-185H-C1050Bs ( 190V 1.05A 200W). 5 cobs will be on each sink with three 3500Ks at the centre and end positions and a 4000 and 5000 taking the positions between the centre and ends.
Is it good to drive a cob rated at 4.2A max at only 1.05A ? I understand underdriving but is this too much?
I will be using these on a 2 x 4 grow for now but would like the option to maybe go to a 4 x4 tent in future.
Thanks
