i like it to pak the wieght on, 1 spoon ful per 5litresof feed, disovled in hot water ad add to res all way thru flower along side nutes and boosters
Oh snap! In your res or for hydro is a BAD idea.....It can start fermentation and that's BAD!

OK so.
Sugar is a source of carbon, the building block of all organic compounds.

Resin-producing plants need lots of carbon to produce resin containing cannabinoids, a class of aromatic compound (aromatic not simply meaning they are smelly, but that the molecules contain one or more carbon rings).

If Carbon is the limiting factor in how much resin a plant can produce (yes, I know it's strain dependent too, bear with me), how well does the addition of sugar actually work to optimize this process?

Are products such as Sweet effective? Are they more effective than watering with any of the 'grocery-store sugars'?
"Sugars" are used by the plant for "building". Molasses does supply some, but the "sugars" are quickly used by the living bio's for their growth before the plants gets some.

"Sweet" is more of a Mg and S supplier that effects the trichome production far more then any "bulking" of the plant.
It does do some terp increase also. I like to make my own for FAR cheaper then it is sold for. I feel my specific formula is a bit better in the "sugar" actually used by the plant vs. the bio's.

Refined sugars will work to a point, but you risk fermentation at a higher rate and they should NEVER be added to hydro applications.

I'm liking this. So I mixed me up some of the good Drs concoction here and I'm starting to feed it to my 4 girls. I'm a little far along at 5 weeks flowering but I'm gonna try it anyway.

Fed my purple cheese from flower to harvest with the same bottle you have with a flush here and there of course and will be doing it again on my current grow. But I was in soil I wouldn't recommend using it in a hydro setup.

Please, let us all know what you think. 5 weeks in is kinda short timing, but I would guess you will see a difference.
