opinions on my crop

So I am a new member of this forum and have found lots of great information as well lots of constructive debates as well it has really helped me. Lots of experience on here. I have learned lots and will be doing things a bit different next spring as a result.

However I am nearing the end of my second ever outdoor grow, things are looking very good from what I can tell but am wondering when my plants will be ready for harvest. From what I can tell the majority of the tricomes have turned cloudy and a couple have started to show amber the last few days, the pistils on the other hand are probably 70% white still. Some of the Lower buds on the plant are further behind as far as pistils but the tricomes look to be cloudy. I am at day 60 since I noticed a flower developing so its likely early.

These plants genetics are unknown to me, I ordered my seeds from Vancouver Island Seed Nuclear genetics and they threw in something Labeled BC Firebud and thats what these 3 plants are, my Nuclears are a couple weeks behind.

Any thoughts or opinions would be great. I don't really want couch lock so I want to be on the ball when these girls start to turn over.

Aw mang they looking nice and healthy , personally I would wait another week maybe , not so knowledgable about those strains.

I didnt want any couchlock either and harvested all of my super lemon haze at day 67 , basically the odd amber trich , milky af everywhere else, they were getting about 50/50 hair wise , but after 4 weeks now every pistil that was white is a mature orange , and I got exactly the high I wanted.

Cant hurt letting them go a few more days and checking again , if mostly milky and just starting to amber here/there you should be right on the button.

I am not a very experienced grower but hit the jackpot on my recent grow (hadn't done it for years) , hopefully someone knows the strain somewhat.

I think what I will do is staggered harvest on two of them then let the third go a while longer and just see what happens, I have 3 seeds of this strain left for next year and was very impressed at how strong they were.

They look good, nice wood crib too!

Those don't looks ready to mee yet, the hairs haven't resided, which is usually what I look for plus the fatty ness of the bud ahah they do how ever look beautiful!

Queen-I agree the pistils still being very white indicates that its not ready yet, however I am noticing more yellow tricomes every day. This is where my confusion sets in I have decided to take 2 of the 3 down over the next week and let the 3rd go further and just see what happens with it. Again I am looking for more of an upbeat high so if they come down a bit early so be it.

Those ambers appear to be on the leaves, but not the calyxes in that photo. Does that ring true for the entire plant? Notice how the amber seems to be moving inward from the leaf tips. Keep an eye on the calyxes, those are the triches that count.

Yes the triches that are amber have not progressed beyond far out on the leaves so far. That's a good tip maybe I will hold off a bit and just keep a real close eye on them.

So bit of an update my plants have gone 10 days since I asked this question, I have taken one down around the time I made this post the bud has just entered the consumable form it seems to be good. The other two plants have changed considerably for the better I think adding a bit of purple colour the pistles have withered a bit more as well, tricomes have still not progressed to much amber but they appear almost all cloudy probably going to take one of them down this weekend and let the other go a bit longer.

A combination of things are leading me this direction we have some bad weather rolling through the weekend and it will be difficult for me to manage 4 plants, as well the foliage on the forest has started to yellow it makes much more difficult to be subtle where the plants are located I have to move them closer to the house in a spot that doesn't get as much sun as the prime lie. Two of my other plants wont be ready until early October will try my best to keep them dry. Thanks for all your guys input.

Those are heavy sativa dom genetics. you got a ways to go. IMO. I would say 3 weeks honestly.

It seems they didn't fatten up very well for some reason. Once you dry those out it will be very light loose bud,

it hasn't put on its swell yet, those will fatten up before its over

Thanks for the input guys unfortunately last week Grey mold started in good on these two plants and I had to harvest, I am happy with what I was able to salvage and get from it I made some bubble hash from the clippings that is excellent. The growing conditions have been relatively good so I just don't think the strain is good for my growing area. S

That being said I now have two Texada cross genetics plants that are entering there final days, They both have had a considerable (10-15%) of there fan leaves yellow last few days and I noticed just today some grey mold has shown up on the stalk of one near the bottom of the plant, it has fully covered around the stem and is about an inch in length. This worries me as I was hoping I could push these plants into the second week of October. Last few weeks I have been bringing the plants in at night and drying them out in front of a fan, not to mention we have also had very dry weather so its a bit dis-concerning that I am still having an issue.

What are your guys thoughts on these babies? Weather is going to turn to shit pretty soon.

Another update since I last posted I have noticed some more evidence of mold on my plants the last few days I have a feeling they will have to be taken down within a week. Weather is cold and clear should be for a little while longer. Some feed back would be appreciated as to how close these plants might be or advice.

those look like they still have a good ways to go. you might want to try spraying some hydrogen peroxide on any effected areas you see, and keep an eye on them, the longer you can let them go the better
