You said your working on making it bigger. You will need room for the lights and space. And if fans make it to cold under 65f don't run them just have a small fan in the room moving air. This helps make stocks stronger. If temps are fine all you need is a passive intake and exoust. Simple flaps that block light but move with air.

what about nutrients how much should i feed them and could i add you as a friend if i have any more questions

Ok, please forgive if this comes off sounding harsh. You obviously have a passion to grow your own meds, that is very good! Passion and dedication will bring good harvests in time. It does not look to me like you have invested a lot of time, planning, or cash for this set up. So, you should not have that much to loose.

I suggest continue to grow them for the experience which will be invaluable. While they are growing take that time to read, study, plan, and then act on a new grow. You will have time to save some $ for better equipment and learn a ton of info and have a much better grow.

yo man word of advice im a do it yourself kind of guy but some things its worth it to pay for other peoples handywork. first you need to save some money and study a lot of grow books about lights ventilation co2 hydroponics soil organics electricity. think of this as practice run and dont invest more than a couple hundred bucks.
then when your ready with about 600$ hit craigs list and the grow shop and build the perfect personal set up. to give you an idea of a perfect set up is 7 plants evry 2 weeks 1 oz + a peice 30 plants total in flower at a time 30 in veg 4 week veg 7-8 clones rooting all at once in a cycle labeled, temps 80 day 65 night, 1500 ppm co2, several strands bluecheese,purple,white widow, monthley cost is 70$ a mo. and all of it is inside a 5x5x7 tent(on its side so 7x5x5)

Yes you can add me. Just know I don't know much about soil. I grow with it 15 years ago but don't think I did it right. Lol. What soil are you in? And when did you plant then in the soil? You might not need anything for 2 weeks or so.

you want to buy good lights, nutes, fans and filters, every thing else can pretty much be bought used magnetiic ballasts are ok to buy used

thats why you dont want to spend money .most of us are broke and just got good at this shit now we wish we could go back to when everything was straight and just saved the 600-700$ to make a bomb ass grow room and do it right. instead of trying to do it all ourselves and creating a money pit with a how bunch of shit that is really unnecessary. i have 400w in flouros i dont use from when i first started if i knew you i would hook you up with them to save you some money

Aborting a grow, any grow is not a good karmatic thing to do when it applies to Mother Ganja's babies. Love them and she will love you. Sounds corny but it is true. Evey time I grow I learn something new. In fact every time I visit RIU I lean something. A first grow should be just that, a first grow...not a 1st "Oh well, they ain't gonna be worth anything so fuck it". The knowledge you have already gained just in this thread proves the value of continuing.

Thanks I appreciate all the advice an my basement is about 70 degrees. Also I fed them some nutes and added a small amount of root hormon but how often should I feed them and should I add nutes to the water?

What is the soil mix they are in?

once a week feed with hydro nutes or tea. water 2-3 a week. water every 2 weeks if using time release fertilizer w/or fertilized soil. when watering if its still moist from lat watering add 1/5 of pots size inwater (so you dont over water) sometimes it helps to learn to pump water when you first start cuz everyone gets excited and just want to spend time with their plant. this is how you pump. wait till soil gets pretty dry and spongy to where you know you need to water. then add water 1-3 oz's at a time every 3-4 hours if you leave for a couple extra hours just add a couple extra oz's. here is list of basic stuff that you will need for the rest of your growing experience i hope you start of better than me you are honestly the only newb i have ever helped so take my advice to heart.

1 ml pipette
3oz syringe
measuring shot glass
ph meter
digital thermometer or ir thermometer
duct tape
masking tape for labels
sharpie for labels

oh and 1/3 recommended strength too always you want you [lant to grow fast so you want nutrients available but you want it to be searching for it while still getting an adequate amount. you wont need full strength unless you in midway thru flower.

Keep in mind it's a made pot. So off it takes more the 2 1/2 days to dry more holes are needed. Air to roots is a must.

What soil are you using and what additives if any did you use?

I'm using a organic soil with 10-10-10 fertilizer currently

ok, what is in the soil? and what product are the nutes? And do you have any buffers in the soil? perlite, vermiculite, dolomite anything?

Well, than mom should know what's in it then. What I am getting at is at that age you need to be real careful with how and when you feed them. Find out what is in there, do some research on organic soil grows, I would suggest SUBCOOL's thread here on RIU.
