So here is my new grow(s) in my small box lined in mylar with a large fan blowing on the holes on the side of the box for ventilation and an outtake fan on top to get rid of some heat. This strain is Northern Lights from Nirvana, it was cheap and I didn't have much money so I thought, what the hell... So Out of the 2 that have sprouted, here is a picture of the better looking one. I think it's looking great soo far although I may have to adjust the CFL later in the morning because it's about an inch away from the plant (2x 26W 5600k) which is why I think it's the reason my plant might be pointing upwards. Other than that, I have been keeping the soil moist with two waterings already to keep the seedling from drying out. I'm using Scott's potting soil with Peat Moss added with plenty of MG perlite, the temperature in there is about 85 on average, maybe 90 on the hottest part of the day, and it's light regiment is 22.5/1.5 to cool down the lights. For anyone who thinks marijuana needs a rest, you are wrong. Marijuana is a C3 plant and commences photosynthesis whenever the lights are on, during the dark period the plant ceases to continue photosynthesis unlike the processes in C4 plants such as vegetables etc.

Anyhow, I don't know how good of quality this photo will be to you but at a real up close look, the plant looks very green and is already starting to get robust and fat, especially the stem.

Any input, comments or opinions are very welcome and if you would like to follow this grow, check out my signature. (:
