I have an outdoor plant that i barely ever check on just because im so busy, well i went and checked it for the first time a couple days ago and its looking beautiful. I use mollasses when feeding my indoor plants and i love the results. Do you think if i use mollasses outdoors, the sweetness will draw all kinds of bugs and critters to my plants?

honestly yes i do but u could always give it a shot try it one time if nothing happens with bugs keep using it ... is it in a pot outside or in the ground... if its in a pot i dont think it should attract to many if any

Where abouts are you growing, I've heard that bears and deer can be attracted to it but I've read here https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/186821-molasses-every-thing-u-need.html that it can actually be a pretty good pest control, fire ants as well as cabbage white caterpillars are some of the pests that have been seen to avoid plants fed with molasses. The article has a lot more info than I can type here but I would say go for it.

I grew most of mine outdoors, just sun and rain, natural as it gets. But I did start using some molasses recently and no bugs near them at all. I would wait between rains, maybe 4-7 days, then go out with a gallon of pre-boiled water mixed with the molasses and just empty the jug at the base of the plants. They have responded nicely, and no bugs from the sweetness left on the top of the soil. Should work for you, hopefully.

I'd add an inch or so of soil over where I poured the molasses and water to cover it up and perhaps lessen the attraction it might hold for bugs or whatever.

i live florida i use molas on my plants theres more bugs here than just about anywhere else i havent had any probs.
I hear that man, its amazing how many bugs are around here. I grew up here in FL and I'm still surprised how many new bugs I find every once in a while. Gotta love those 'what the fuck is that!?' moments. ;)

I've used molasses outside without issue, didn't seem to effect the bug population either way. Lived near the woods, didn't have problems with rabbits, cats, or deer either.
