Opnion's please

I have two bagseed plants under flouros, growing strong but S---L------O------W...16 days and just now sprouting second set of leaves.....and I have them in a shitty "white sheet" growbox.....as I have said as a learning experience......but I have this hydrofarm habitat and these MH & HPS lights just sitting here......should I go ahead and set this thing up and put them under the MH and see if the veg out??? I also just picked 4 good bagseeds from some decent sati high smooshed bud.......and one SUPPOSED skunk #1 seed......I have the bug....don't want to do hydro until second grow.....but here is what I ask.....
A) should I set up the habitat and use the lights, or just keep learning the easy way.
B) should I set up the habitat, put the two I got in there and plant these other 5?
It is a medium habitat (4.5x4.5x7) and a 400w ballast that will run either bulb. What shud I do....should I stay with what I am doing to learn...or should I use my investment on my first grow, and risk disappointment??

Hey wanted to add some note.....I said I had two bagseed plants growing, and I just went to look at them, and lo and behold something I had forgotten. My wife is preggers and she has some nice piney herb stashed for her post partum party...and me being out two nights past she gave me a little, and I found a rogue seed, and stuck it in a pot and in my grow area...so now I have three plants and this one is chasing the light already....probably as bandy ass male, but I hope not, cuz the herb is so sweet.
Also on my most thriving little plant, Johanna, one of her leaves is a little curled on the end.....and darker in that area.....I assume overwatering???? Soil was dry to my second knuckle and I watered last night.....after three days. Light is 40w flouro, maybe 6" over plants

id get bigger lights...imo..

so, you think I should hook up the 400w mh and set up the habitat? how many plants can I get under 400w mh? I have three seedliings and have 5 hearty seeds...I have heard anywhere from 6 to 12.....no sog..just simple light on potted plants.....should I plant 2 or 3 more seeds or hang with the 3 plants I have??

ok thought of another question......during the 24/7 light phase, obviously when I go in and out of grow room, I allow ambient light in, so how often is too often to enter my grow room during "daytime" in both veg and flower stages? Obviously I would not go in during "night", but I like to look at my plants alot...they pretty....so how much ambient light is too much?

You can use a "green light" while you're in your grow room at night. I cover my grow room door with black visqueen plastic - so after I enter I pull it down. If at night or during the night cycle I cut on the green light. If during the day - no problems at all. Just don't interrupt your night cycles with ambient light - Don't do it!!!

some people are gonna say keep the flouro, but 40w is not enough for 5 plants...id throw up the 400w MH.....but thats me

Bump bump on above......also, I want everyone's opinion on this: during initial seedling stage/first soil breaking of the seedling, woul dit be better to have my plants under:
A) 24/7 dual 40w flouros
B) 24/7 400w MH
C)18/6 40w flouros
D) 18/6 400w MH

AND...if I should "seedle" under flouros, when to go to the MH for veggietyme??

actually, that is what I was planning on doing......the seedlings have been under flouros for 16 days and are JUST NOW sprouting second set of "real" leaves.......although they look healthy (other than a white spot on each of the cotelydon leaves on one plant, but I understand as long as it doesn't spread I can rest easy) so I think the flouros are just not enough now...I think I will go to the 400w MH this weekend
