If they were maxing out those 5 plants they still had no where near 10k worth in street value.

I have the same opinions as you guys, but you have to see it from the side of LEO too.
In the eyes of LEO they are bad people, breaking the law, or simply subverting the hoops to jump through that lets the gvt get their cut of tax money from the meds.
Look at the schwagg the LP's sell for 10$.gram, of course they value meds home grown with love at a lot more $ than the shit they sell.

This has nothing to due with the 5 plants IMO, its a mom/pop operation and probably sold 1/2lb or w/e made a few bucks and didnt keep there mouth shut...this is taxation nothing else...cops know what growers make and they arent happy about it. Reward is 100x the risk these days.

As unfortunate as the circumstances are for those involved, there may be some recent precedent in Quebec ($1.30 court cost judgement) that could get charges thrown out. Is it a hassle buy those being dragged in by the pigs, absolutely! But, hopefully they get charges thrown out by the crown before trial (with costs).
