Orange pistils?

So, my white widow has been flowering for a little while now (switched from veg to flowering a bit late, so she's huge) and this is from a few days ago:

female2 - 10-26-10.jpg

Now, 3 days later, the rest of the plant looks just like that...

female3 - 10-29-10.jpg

except this one spot:

female4 - 10-29-10.jpg

I know it's hard to see in this picture, since I didn't have a digi cam and had to use my iphone, but the pistils near the top have this orange hue to them. Is this the sign of something amiss? If so, hopefully I can take care of it soon, especially since I only see it on the one spot.

Thanks for any feedback :)

Hey man- this is just from my own growing experience, but when I get the claw look on the leaves it only happens when I have drowned the roots. The older leaves will probably not recover, but new growth should look ok. Let the soil dry out before you feed again, and remember the top of the soil may look dry, but underneath the soil will still be pretty damp. Good luck.

The pH testing kit looks like it's saying the nutrient solution is between 4 and 5 (a light orange tint on this color sheet).

Well, that's a shame. It's my first grow and at the time I was looking for seeds, I had no idea where to look. It was somewhere around 12 seeds for $30. Now I have no idea what I'm growing ><. Once I'm hopefully done harvesting whatever this is, I'm going to buy from Attitude and use what I've learned and still am learning to hopefully grow better.

ya being a sativa there its going to be a long flower time, like up to 18 weeks for some hazes. not saying thats a haze but it may be a while. average is about 12 weeks.

ya them liquid testers suk. when you test anything with a colour in it dfrom the food it wont be anywhere right. add red n bluew..makes purple. so when we add 2 colours...1 being the nute mix and other being the tester solution...its out. it will make a 2rd unrelated colour. and we need to be more accurate tyhan a 5 to 6 ph. thats a 100x times diff from 5 to 6. each full num,ber in ph is 100x stronger. and each decdimal is 10x
