They sent them in original breeder packaging. One had 8 seeds instead of the 5+2. And another had an extra seed.
One order were all feminized and got 2 Bruce Banner feminized free.
Second order I got all autos cause I don't have many auto strains. I got reds from Sweet Seeds from him. He gave me 2 free Cream Caramel Auto seeds with that one.

I also bought from someone on THC Farmers forum. He was selling 40yr old regular seeds his friend has a big grow op and they were all winning strains he had from 80s and 90s

I got Big Bud, Purple Thunder and Jamaican Pineapple 45 seeds total for 90 bucks. Others had success germing the seeds so I figured what the hell.

40 year old seeds were still viable? I tried germinating seeds I had bought after having them stored sealed in a cool dark place for 8 years

The guy who germed some of those used an exacto knife to score the spline. I assume this is to allow the water to get inside the seed. Possibly the seed coating dries out or doesnt absorb water. Assuming these are germ tricks for older seeds. I havent done much research but the guy selling them is legit

Might be possible but id say you would have more chance with embryo rescue vs normal germ techniques imo still i wouldnt say its impossible just rare for things that old

The whole point of starting this venture was to have what I wanted and know what I had without a doubt. This defeats the purpose for me. How many months will you spend and random phenos will you grow before admitting it's bag seed?

Not trying to be rude...
Just saying you are most likely wasting time and are most likely not going to see any consistency, I wouldn't fuck with those unpacked seeds

All I can say is that the color of the seeds and strain names in each container have consistent coloring. I do not think random bag seeds would have that kind if consistent color. Now whether they pop or not is another question. Won't know till I try. Never hurts to try. Maybe I can inbreed them and get fresh seeds. I have plenty of smoke to last me a year anyways. Last grow I got over a lb dry

If I had 500 seeds, I would color sort them to rip you off. Why only 90 bucks when you can pay 90 for a 10 pack? Inbreed them to get what more bag seed? Again I'm trying to tell you to throw those away, your time and potential profits are worth more than 90 bucks ain't they?
