o shit yeah thats probably a good idea. makes alot of sense to leave the holes open. i could have sworn that i got the silicone idea from the pf tek sticky thred but now that i look for it i cant find it any where lol idk maybe i missed it but yeah ill take off the silicone. im gonna leave one jar just to see if it does work out for shits and giggles now. thanks for the catch sonar! still no spores yt but its only 11am so plenty of time for UPS to hopefully show up today.

Me and my buddy got our area set up just a bit ago so i put up some pics. We just need a heater and were good. His place doesnt have heat and it was 37F n the room tonight lol. No mail yet. Checked the order and it was shiped out from WA almost 24hr ago so i imaginge its gotta b close now so im thinking tomorow itll show up.

come on!!! still nothing. checked the tracking report and there n reno so at least there close as hell now. hopefully they make the hr or so drive and deliver tomorow.

alright good news for u all... spores are at my local post office! they got in about 2 hrs ago so sometime here n the next about 4 hrs they should b n my hands. im actually surprise that they got out from reno so quickly. most places its been 24+ hrs for a turn around. iv got everything ready so if they show up today ill b gettin some jars ready lol

HELL YES! THEY CAME IN!!! and i have to say im pretty happy with what they sent. im gonna b growing creeper, amazon, BT (ban thurian? if anyone can tell me if im correct that would b cool) and alacabenzi. has anyone grown out these strains b4? comments about them? ill get some pics up n a sec

just got done innoculating jars. we did 2 BT, 2 amazon, 2 creeper, and 3 of the alacabenzi for a total of 9 jars. idk if there steralzed enough though. i didnt have a big pot avalable to steam the jars so i got a deep dish aluminum oven pan, filled with about 1/2 inch of water and totally covered the top with aluminum foil and stuck them n the oven till the water started to boil and let it sit for almost 2 hrs n there. should b good for now but im for sure using a big ass pot next time. innoculation went pretty smooth i think. at least i got some experiance doing it if anything. ill get pics hopefully tomorow but if not then monday. merry christmas to all and ill keep u guys posted.

Nice! If u wanna post pics of ur jars and grow on here go for it man. Id like to see them. Yeah i was gonna do the tape but didnt have any on hand. Just tried to b extra carefull. I guess well find out if it worked soon enough lol but the tape for sure would make me feel alot better.

Sounds good man. I got 2 big plastic storage tubs w/ holes drilled n it. Using perlite for the bottom filler and thats it lol super simple and easy. Need more perlite though. I only have 2 bags for now bit i figure i got a few weeks to get more. Whats ur set up
