Ordering Equipment Online

I'm contemplating starting up a small op in a 10X6 Spare storage room I have. I have a few hydro stores 30mins north or south of me but they sketch me out.

1) Is ordering nutes/lights etc online dangerous?

2) If so, what methods do you guys use to steathly order the stuff? (prepaid cards, fake emails, names, addresses)

In some older grow books I have the "Top 10 stupid grower mistakes" list always includes:
-Go to the hydro store in the car registered to the grow ops address
-Order all your stuff over the phone and ship to the grow ops address

well..how the hell do I get it then?!

Probably shouldn't have made this your first question in a forum about weed. Weed makes some people paradoid man, you might have scared them all for good.
The advice that I heard was:
Pre-paid credit cards
Don't ship to grow spots
You can make fake email addresses but I don't think it's the email address they're gonna be looking at. Find a way to make a fake IP address, lol
Use your head
And DON'T TELL ANYONE

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure why my questions would scare anyone, hehe. I'm in newbie central, and I was just seeing some of the techniques people use to be super careful. I've seen a lot of people saying the po-po will possibly get your tag if you go to the hydro store. Online seems the be the hardest way to track but I wasn't quite sure of how to go about it.

i was only kidding about scaring people bud, cause the nature of the thread, lol things seem funnier to me now then they probably truly are lol I don't know too much about the fuzz scoping out hydro stores but then again I don't have one near me. I'd think that if they got your info that way it wouldn't we admissable. No probable cause. It's like searching people that they see buying papers or dutches.

So far I've been recommended to get most of what I need at home depot, and use High-Tech Garden Supply (HTG) for the rest as far as equipment goes.

Atttitude seed bank was my first choice, I've seen some good reviews on them as well.

Anyone have any issues with these 2 companies?

Both companies are superb in my book

I just found out HTG has a location within driving distance of me...hmmm..

Anyone else with advice and/or ideas on getting the seeds/equipment to the grow house anonymously? Any tips will be appreciated!

They equipment is not illegal, has many other purposes. fish tanks , fountains, some people actually grow vegtables. If ya had a problem I think it would come somewhere else.
