Ordering seeds online

Hello im curious if it safe to order seeds online through the mail without them arriving damaged.. Ive seen some seed bank that sell their seeds in a plastic bags with no protection instead of a tube or something like that. how would the seeds survive a mail trip without being damaged if so? is it risky??

I got my seeds from http://www.marijuana-seeds.nl/. They mailed them to me in a cd case. They were fine and they are growing fine.

last time i tried to order seeds over a year ago instead i got a letter from the NED

the attitude uses liitle tubes for their seeds works fine. and they send it in bubble wrap. no propb

it depends on the brand of seed.

The first seeds I bought were autoflowering seeds that cost 35 GBP (about 60 USD), they came in a really cool packet, inside the packet was a capsule-the kind that medecine or Es come in, in the capsule were the 3 seeds and silica gel powder to prevent moisture getting to the seeds.
My second order came in a hard cardboard packet, the middle of which had a transparent section inside which were the seeds.
The 3rd lot of seeds I obtained, which were a free gift that came with batch 2 were just in a ziplock baggie, but as the were free I dont mind.

I think it all depends upon which brand name of seeds you are buying, and where you are getting the seeds from.

Iam always blowing dopeseeds.com trumpet on here (soon people will think I work for them!), but they are the only supplier I have used and I think they are great.

Hands down the best site i've used for seeds. You can purchase single seeds at a time for only a few bucks
so you can have a large variety of plants and its all of quality.

I've used this site several times and recieved my package within a week, they have different ways of packaging it/
Sometimes they use cd cases or tape cases... they always seem to keep it on the downlow though.

I just purchased some exotics and they are proving to be very stable and even my big buddha blue cheese was purple
since it sprouted.

I suppose this is a never say never but....it seems to be to be pretty benign. The methods of packaging and sesnding seem to attract very little attention. I have used online ordering without a problem. But I know other people have had similar worries. its a choice. depends on your alternatives I suppose. good luck!

Safe? No.
Chances of getting caught? Very slim.

I just ordered my third time from attitude (yesterday) and, reading on other sites about people getting busted i was a little more paranoid about this time when i bought seeds yesterday so i bought it with their extra-stealth method (packed with a t-shirt). The first two times i ordered from attitude i didnt get the t-shirt method and had the seeds in about 5 days. Its your call if you wanna order. Things to make it safER:

use pre-paid credit card
mail to a "safe house" - like a friends house (with permission)
use a separate browser for ordering, with a proxy plugin installed for that browser, so your ip will be out of whack of what it really is.


good luck, chances are slim but there is that risk. Many have had police show up at thier house without warning. Most just get a letter saying they had contraband being mailed to their house and never hear anything about it again.

Idk about worldwide sometimes I've ordered from their twice the 1st time was jus purple wrapping/confetti type paper for packaging gifts with the seeds in their bags and lil marijuana leaves painted on the inside of the box the 2nd time though it was in a cd case and no lil leaf design...they do have a great selection and good prices though I'll say that much...

Iam intrigued by Americans posting questions about seed delivery and 'stealth' techniques.

Are seeds illegal in the US? Just to own them I mean.

It is against the law to grow dope in the UK but one is allowed to possess seeds (apparantly the people that sell them maintain that their customers like to collect dope seeds!)

Wish it wasnt I hate having to even think about customs checkin my ish, especially after spending some well earned cash on a new batch of seeds...

Well the positive part is, if customs takes it. You can tell the company you bought it from and they will usually replace them.

Attitude guarantees replacement if you pay a little extra.

As for discussing the stealth methods.. t-shirt, etc., I wish to god people wouldn't say a word on here about how their stuff was stealthed because the fed is all over this site. If you think they aren't logged into a free site and baiting large scale growers, you're off your rocker. What, you've never been reading a grow journal from 2007 of a guy doing 50 plants and suddenly, right near harvest, it ends? I've seen that plenty. Telling any prying eyes how we're getting our seeds just blows. People trust the internet waaay too much. All it takes is a sniffer to get your ip address / mac address and, having worked tech for a couple of ISPs, I can tell you that ISPs respond to government warrants and subpoenas routinely to provide that information.

I can tell you this, man.. I've ordered 2 times off the web. ENSURE that they will be using US Mail. This seems counter-intuitive, but one of the things US Mail has going for it is it takes a REEEEALLY hefty warrant for mail search. FedEx and UPS don't even need warrants. This is explained on some of the better seed sites, if you do not believe me.

From my experience, Nirvana and Attitude got their stealth just right. Attitude was better, though. Not only that, but my family uses the items that the seeds were stealthed in!

blimey cant believe owning seeds is illegal in the states!

we are talking about a country that lets people own hand guns!

I have always loved the US and wanted to move there when Iam a grown up!
