hey this is a warning

if u buy weed from Oregon do not just grind it up ......Break it open into smaller chunks and look for MOLD


i went to a chain weed store in Oregon got some high number stuff ........it gave me bronchitis ...the shit was moldy tho out the inner bud (looked good on the outside but break it open u see fuzz look at tho scope and u have fuzzy purple looking veins of it tho out)


i have a good immune system i lived in a guy house (vacuumed 2 times a year never dusted ) with in 5 days of hitting the stuff i coughed up blood .......grow partner told me had to go to hospital they xrayed my lungs to make sure not to bad or TB or anything like that

Always a possibility in Oregon. I've had bud rot (and PM) in both indoor and outdoor grows at this point. I grew for a couple of years before the first time I had bud rot in an indoor -- the RH was low but I grew 12/12 from seed and did not top them and the massive top colas were so big and dense that on a few plants they were rotten at the core. Couldn't tell just by looking at them, from the outside they looked perfect.

I haven't found any studies or surveys on long or short term effects of smoking moldy pot. Anyone ever heard of one?

what u want to look up is smoking anything moldy ......tobacco will have something on it what can happen ......it would be the same for weed

You cant get high off the shit. Thats the only study needed. I dont know what everyone else is smoking but if I taste anythin other than weed, there won't be a good effect. Whether it's fucking gay ass sugar additives, fungicides or mold.. You dont get medicated off contaminated bud. Not the way that vaping gets you. If you combust and grow hydro or shop at dispensaries its probably all the same to you.

Everyone is treating pot like it's meth or something these days. Like you can get a good buzz even if the product is dirty. Sorry.. Weed doesn't work that way! It needs to be natural and clean to synergize all that's happening between you and the plant. People are treating this like a drug molecule that grows on a plant. Completely ignoring the fact that you could smoke good weed with no thc at all, and still get medicated. All that shit matters. If it doesn't matter to you, why are you smoking pot? Go back to meth or heroin, if moldy bud doesn't bother you, you should break up with weed, you don't deserve it.

I've seen more abominable bud and nonweed weed smokers under legalization than i ever saw on the informal market. Fuck legalization. An entire market of people not getting high who thinks they are because they inhaled smoke from a pipe.

Haven’t coughed up a Black gook thing in years.

As far as the pseudo organic religious rant above. Lol. Black market weed indoor and out may have had much more dangerous chemicals.

I mean personally.... If a bud is rotten to the core...yet looks fine on the outside....it's literally guna pull apart like mush when handled or trimmed anyway. Further more if you've smoked weed for as long as OP has ...you'd know something was up on the first wife of something that moldy..... and if he broke it open and found all this fuzz...why did he not notice it when he was packing a bowl....maybe he just sets the entire nug on his bowl.... Weed that is rotten to the core falls apart with little to no effort....and OP is a said long time grower and smoker. I think of.........

The worst thing I've ever come across was a guy selling moldy weed to a mentally ill person and calling it white widow. He got punished severely for that....smh

The weed I’m talking about had no visible mold and still broke up ok. Maybe a little dark colored.

Did not have a microscope to look as I did not grow yet. And I never had the problem before this legal weed grown by the new “professionals”

I was watching moonshiners last night....thinking.....HHHMMMMM this scenario feels familiar. We don't grow to get the most $$$ out of it. We grow 1st to supply good medicine to people who need it. 2nd because we love doing it. 3rd we know we can grow better than 99percent of the so called top shelf money tree in the clubs. I'm not surprised at all people would find issues with so called clean club weed. Most of them are in it for money. I've literally heard owners of these clubs talking about how they work the system and laugh about people being dumb enough to buy something for X price because it's club weed. I guess if people are that dumb they deserve it. I could honestly care less about what they do......it doesn't effect me in any way whatsoever. The only thing that's sad is seeing actual sick people being taken advantage of. I find it laughable seeing people post about growing beans they found in their top shelf club weed ....lol smh

Not saying weed with seeds can't be good......but seriously.

Let's not even get into the stories I've heard about what kind of product the clubs get hash and concentrates from :spew:.. Il just stick to growing clean potent meds myself.

I absolutely fucking hate Oregon dispensaries! The hell they put me through this year drove me to start my own outdoor grow and finally be able to grow dank sedative strains for my insomnia.Most crap in the dispensaries is cut early and gives you racey feeling and high is gone in 10 minutes. Forget about night time strains from these assholes. Not to mention most dispensaries sell 1- 2 year old nasty bud. I finally after wasting so much money trying multiple dispensaries and different farms only 1 is bomb and that's Sofresh farms Kosher Kush. If they don't have sofresh farms I don't buy from those dispensaries. Shop by farm not dispensary thats what I learned in year of hell. Especially a big fuck you to Millerville, Avitas! Nastiest shit I ever smoked I smoked better stuff in PA!
