OrezO's Perpetual Closet

What's up guys,
First off, thanks for stopping by, I appreciate any comments or constructive criticism.

I had a previous grow journal but now this will be my main journal from now on.
So this is my lil grow op, It's designed to grow at most 6 plants.
I've had a spare room in my house for some time now that I never use, so one day I decided to cut the middle man out and grow for myself; Since then, I have had a couple of successful grows and I've grown to respect and love this hobby.

Here's the room I flower: (5'5') closet
I currently rent so there's no way of installing adequate ventilation, so I use low heat lights & keep the closet door open/cracked.



What I use:

Lighting:
Flower:
2- Kessil H150 Purple
1- 200 watt 2700K CFL

Veg:
3- 18'' 15 watt T8

Seedling:
Aero Garden 6 plant setup
(not used for hydro, only the flourecent lights)

Medium:
FFOF- Organic medium/20% vermiculite

CO2:
2- ExHale CO2 Generators

Nutes:
Dutch Masters Gold Series- Saturator, Liquid Light, Grow A & B, Flower A & B, Reverse.
GH Flora Series, Bloombastic, Molasses, guano, H202.......and some other small additives.
I'm only going to stick with DM nutes this next round up.



Pots:
I drilled a bunch of holes in my pots for aeration. I think this will really help the root system.
I lined the inside with lawn weed barrier. I mixed up the soil and they'll sit for a couple of weeks till my seedlings get transplanted.



The Veg Box- 2'x3'
I LST all my ladies because of limited room.
There's a Gallon of of yeast/sugar mixture spitting some CO2 right on the fan.



The Flower Room- 5'5'
7 Plants currently flowering.
4 to be chopped within 2 weeks

OG Kush


The Buds:
These girls are a clone (unknown strain) I recieved that I've been growing perpetually.
They've been flowering for 11 weeks and I don't have the heart to chop em yet because they're swelling very nicely.

I plan on running 4-6 different strains perpetually.
I'm still deciding on what other strains to choose. Just taking it slow & enjoying each & every harvest.

I was being an idiot/wasn't paying attention when I was spraying DM's Liquid Light, and I think I accidentally had "a" drop hit my SLH seedling.
I say this because a small drop size portion of the leaf kinda died then wilted alittle. It healed right up but it looks a lil elongated now. We'll see how it develops.



The two Starburst clones that look totally amazing.
There almost identical in size.
I replaced the three old lights with (2) 6500K & (1)3100K 18" T8 flourecents
You can really tell a difference now.
I also sprinkled some lime into the soil to keep the PH higher.



Two days from 12 WEEKS OF FLOWER!
This shit is really testing my patience
I think this is a late bloomer because she's throwing out alot of new buds.
The even shittier thing is the trichomes are half cloudy/clear & 1/8 amber.
It still doesn't look ready but I think she's mostly sativa, thats gotta be why she's taking her sweet ass time.
Problem is, I'm outta weed. I'll stick the 4 girls in the dark tomorrow after lights out & chop em Sunday when I wake up.

I ordered 2 other ExHale's for C02
You can see them next to the old ones
I also lowered my CFL so the plants surround it.
I think this is the best optimal setup, we'll see how the results compare.



I should be getting better results these next couple of grows.
The upgrades:
The complete line of Dutch Masters nutes & foliar spray
Added CO2
Air pots
FFOF soil
Better strains


On a side note I had to tape up my vent because of the smell.
It's actually a funny story; The guy I bought my business off of comes over from now & then and uses my equipment/tools in my one car garage thats totally dedicated for my work station. I also have my furnace in there, so when it kicks on it pulls the smell from the grow room vent upstairs right into the garage & circulates it again.
So the furnace kicks on and boom! weeeeeeds in the air, he looks at me and says, what is that? Whats that damn smell, and of course I'm like, it must be coming from outside somewhere.....
What makes it even funnier is he tells me that he's always smelling "that smell" in his kids rooms. I almost broke out laughing. This guys a hard core mormon & his teenagers are tokin up in his house. LOL

So that led to this shit, No more "whats that smell" conversations.

Buy a cheapie carbon filter/fan combo off ebay for 150 and just put it in there, you dont need to vent it out, it will scrub the air clean by constantly cleaning the air in that one room.

I already have an o3 generator/ionizer that I kick on when I'm in the room, but I don't like to keep it on because of the strong o3 smell. It works, but I'll prob get a carbon filter/fan on my next round of ordering shit. It'll make things much easier.

I bought a foothill filters 8" by 20" for my first grow and it did the job, comes with like a big ass computer fan attached to the top of the filter. Off ebay and it was under 130 shipped I think. And no I dont work for them... The ac/dc power inverter thing blew on the first unit I bought and I emailed the seller, he sent me a new one priority (2-3 days) for free. I had an ozone junior and the thing was way suspicious smelling and either that of the 400hps hortilux I had made me really sick, The air was basically just recirculating through the filter/air hood and into my bedroom and then back into the closet/grow. It kept my room smelling very un-marijuana like but sleeping there made me sick.

I'll check out that filter bro, thanks. And that ozone generator was making you sick, thats why I usually keep mine off. O3 is only good for you you if; "[the ozone generators] were not run on high, and interior doors were open, concentrations [of ozone] generally did not exceed public health standards (US EPA, 1995)."
You were probably experiencing the effects of 03 in high concentrations.

Just wish I had more space. I plan to buy a house here soon, and I'm going to make sure the spare bedroom has a nice sized closet
Use the closet for flower & build a 4'4' tent in the room for veg.

I have a hard enough time with my 7, I'll eventually just run 4 perpectually. It's the most I can do with this light setup. You really got to move the plants around so they get good even light coverage.

Thats gotta be a handul taking care of 18 plants.

non really yeat just about 30 babys going getting ready to change my box so i can cycle evry few weeks

thats what i did i like having a few done every week or so, hey do u have a 58vw, i have a 65 with 1600 single carb. and it has been my favorite car so far. lol

Me & my old buddy used to race a VW baja offroad bug in the SCORE races years ago (I was the co-driver). That good ol 1600cc was unstoppable. I miss those days.

yep they are i've had at least 7 of them hade a bus, a ghia & a few bugs my 58 had a drag race motor in it was so fun to drive & hella fast
