hey jin, ya i had the water level go below the pump in rack #1 and rack #3 on the same day in the middle of their sleeping schedul which also coincides with my sleeping schedule. i think #1 was out for roughly 12 hours and #3 must have been out roughly 6 hours. too bad cause #1 was doing really well. iv installed water level gauges in each rack to avoid having this problem in the future.
my #2 has had the fortune of growing up in mostly stable environment from clone to veg to flower. its been about 10 days since i got my AC and have temps around 75 F and humidity in the high 30's to low 40's. the stability looks like its made rack #3 about 10 days ahead of its normal schedule. We'll see how they turn out and when Rack #2 is done that should be the test of how well my setup is doing.

ahh, some good strains. I got some vortex myself, but wont be growing it for awhile. I will have to watch yours to see how she grows. As for pineapple express, i harvested some with the og kush and it is curing right now. I am not so sure it smells like pinepple, but it definitely has a fruity-spicy smell with a tiny hint of pineapple.

FLWR #1 DAY 51
So i couldnt look at these girls anymore. went and cut them all down. my new batch of girls are ready and i didnt feel like wasting another 2 weeks on this rack. instead will give the next run of girls a 2 week head start. ended up throwing away a lot of small undeveloped buds. was just crap really sucked. this rack failure has put me behind at least 3 weeks.

looking good dirk. how long have you been doing scrog? let me know if you want some pointers. I will be pulling over 2 lbs from under a 600w with my scrog. my technique seems to be different than yours.

So i got the new set of girls in. only had 4 of them that were ready. 3 OG Kush and 1 Kandy Kush. So i figured why not give a shot at modifying the rails for only 4 plants. spaced them apart more than the 6 site, seems to be doing good. till i get the dual 600's im probably going to stay at 4 plants per rack or maybe 5 havent decided yet. While i was taking 1 of the OG's out of the VEG Room i crushed one branch. didnt break off but isnt doing good. we'll see if that branch recovers. i taped it up. Also upgraded the rope hatchets to my bike pulley. much better and also installed a new 600 w hortilux as my other one was about 6 months old.
So now that im getting the basics covered i can lean back to my biology background. Will now keep track of everything i do in the Flower Room so i can improve each rack.

So after cleaning the hell out of the flower room figured i better get on that VEG room it was really disgusting. for some reason HD changed the strongbox i use and now my lids dont fit. so iv been mixing up these 2 diff SB's and i didnt have an extra lid. and the smaller lid wont let me put my 3" net cups in. such a pain in the ass. also the paint on the lids really sucks. its a haven for mold and im constantly seeing paint chips in the reservoirs. will try and find some kind of reflective lining or some panda film and cover the lids with that instead of the paint.

damn dirk, i cannot believe how many strains we have in common. dj short bb, og kush, chocolope, votex... i went with holy smoke strawberry diesel.
as for the mandala technique, i thought it said not to use coco. what medium are you using?
