I love Smart Pots and will stay with them until something better come along. After my forst harvest with SP I cut the soil right down the middle to look at whats going on with the roots and what I saw was a large root ball in middle and then the roots go straight out to the sides but stop 1 inch before and die off. There where much more roots n the SP than a regular pot and the grow above is awesome. The water trick is to water twice. I water once and wait one hour then water again, other wise like you said the water runs right down the side and there is no roots along the side. I do like your method though to even distribute the water, that and it would protect the mycro herd from light.[/QUOTE]

PakChild I don't add anything to my soil but what I have been thinking is keeping 4-6 inches empty in my smart pots then 4 weeks into 12/12 add some fresh soil that it high in p/k I have been looking into organic soils and I have not found one that I am willing to consider as of yet.
I do raise the lights 18-24" above plants the last 1-2 weeks of 12/12. This I have found really helps trich production

I just started smoking some OG Kush #18 last night, and it is pretty strong in the body. Feels really good. It was late and I have yet to really take my time and feel it out.

Thanks buddy! Look for High K Bat guano, they make some real high in K. I think it is like 2-2-15 or something. I recommend adding some of that at the last transplant before going 12/12.

early sample of bubba kush....she is a heavy hitter...i tested her quick dried (18 hours) uncured and unflushed.... im lovin the organic grown buds..
bubba kush is the first strain i successfully harvested. i have been sure to keep her around as she always puts a smile on my face
