Organic Bug Repellents (Besides Neem Oil)

Also, is there something you can put next to your plant as opposed to applying it on your plant that will deter bugs with smell or something? Thanks

I have organic pest problems as well. I just recently got some nematode bugs for thrips and created all out bug war fare on my plant

Can you just put onion slices next to your plant to stink bugs out?

the best bug repellant -spiders, ladybugs, mantises, etc. I need bugs to feed my army of predators!- zero problems....hell I even have gophers in my beds- no problem! the only thing I have to battle (fence out) are deer and rabbits.

you can try sprinking cinnamon around the ground or some garlic planted in the pot (if it is a big enough pot) , or just slice up some garlic and spread around your plant. I also have heard of this reciep, but woulden`t recommend it as have never tried it but here it is:
10 to 18 grams of loose tobacco
1 liter of really hot water but not boiling.
A few drops of noantibacterial/antimicrobial soap.

Put the tobacco in the hot water. Let it steep overnight. Strain. Add
the soap, put it up into a sprayer and spray as a fine mist.

I saw on htv the other day tha a clove of garlic just pushes into your soil a nit will keep ground/root dwelling bugs?

if you dont have a hydro store near by try petco or petsmart for neem oil....

I tried the onion and it works magic. So easy tooo!!! Lasts about a day against human smell and possibly a few for bugs. They probably got skeered and duns run aweeeeeee.
