"Can anybody give me an advice on a cheap organic nutes? I was reading few compost tea recipes on this board and found out that most components are fairly tough to find around my area and their total cost is quite high and even more when shipping is added."
most places have access to peat moss, sphagnum is best. how about perlite? lava rock, say for a gas grill?
you said you can get dolomite lime. if you live anywhere, you can come up with nutes for growing. this is what i do.
find a local park,or woods somewhere close. find grass clippings, leaves, sawdust and compost with the sheep manure.
start with sphagnum moss, about 5 parts, add 3 parts perlite or lava rock crushed up. then add 2 parts of your compost mix[leaves, grass clippings, sheep manure]. to each cubic foot of mix,add 1cup of lime.
i use a 2.5 gallon pot as a part,so i add about a cup and a half of lime. add an alfalfa tea,2cups alfalfa meal or pellets[farm store] with 5 gallons of water and 1 tablespoon unsulfered molasses once a week.works like a charm!
don't start seeds in this mix,it'll most likely be too hot with the manure. cut back on any nutes for the first month, say half the manure with this mix.
bottled nutes are an unnessesary purchase! you can find all the things needed for a successfull grow all around you! just go for a hike and get some!
