is there such a thing as organic hydroponics ? (Flood and drain system i want to do (already know about doing it with fish)
Sweet, can you use the same nutes as what you would a soil grow ? Plus how you like comments on here ? CheersI say you can.
You can definitely get very close, fairly easily.
some nutrients are formulated for soil and some for hydro, somtimes it says on the container, if it doesnt you can search google or contact the manufacturer.Sweet, can you use the same nutes as what you would a soil grow ? Plus how you like comments on here ? Cheers

bontanicare pure blend pro is pretty close
i think
GH has an organic line...
as far as liking a post, I think you need to have certain amount of posts.
so keep postin, and welcome to the forum
Cheers for the recommendations, im sorta torn between making my own organic soil or go hydro.Buttsack summed it up
You can try to run homemade teas but you can run into probs
as buttsack mentioned
I can personally vouche for botanicare
I have not used gh organics
but have used their flora series for years with no probs both are great
also what are your reasons for going organic ?
Think I might just make my own soil and re-use itI've said it before and I'll say it again, the word hydro and organics do not go together.
There really isn't any true organic bottles that will work in any hydro system. However you can add organic teas to fight off sludge and or in between res changes, or even as a treat for the plants.
But that's really about it. I've seen countless failed organic hydro grows.....
Coco organics might be different, but not really.
Edit: look into vegan mix by rize, I think hyroot once said, he said its 90% organic lol
I haven't wrapped my head around how it's done, but I've heard of people doing it.is there such a thing as organic hydroponics ? (Flood and drain system i want to do (already know about doing it with fish)
Think i'll stick with organic soil then as I've done some research and seems pretty complicated, you re-use your soil ?I think it is a good move to go soil if you or most driven by taste. Organic hydro can have get fairly tricky with pH fluctuations and things. Hydro grows faster , but I do feel like it can compromise the taste just slightly (Opinion). I make my own soil and use General organics nutes and have great results...Hydro I really have only used flora nutrients so not a ton more advice there.
Very funny.Have you looked into SIP systems? These are the best of both worlds I believe. Google Noobwannab ghetto sip system.
Why is it funny? Here's a link if you couldn't be bothered...Very funny.
Sorry bud, thought you were joking with name. Why is it funny? Here's a link if you couldn't be bothered...

sweet, what model would you suggest ? (I have a 1.2x1.2I don't believe so? A DWC bucket has a res of water bigger than the ones than use in the sip, so if you can keep THOSE under control, I don't see how modified hydro would be any different. I currently do Hempy buckets, but I have methods to keep humidity under control, dehumidifier for during the summer and then in the winter the humidity drops so no need for anything.
