Lights are about to come on, and I'm going to give them their first taste of BMO's Foliar Harmony. Just mixed up 1.5 teaspoons into a two-liter and am about to spray them bitches down. I've read stomata are most efficient at 72-78 and then stop nearly completely at around mid-80's. I've also read that when you're having issues with your plant, foliar feeding is a good idea as it allows nutrients to go directly down to the root system via the plant, rather than pass through the medium (where more issue could dwell, as in my case - my soil could be throwing off the magnesium/calcium levels as well as the pH of the nutrient solution). So I'm hoping this well help my plant recover that nice green, unburnt look it's lacking right now.

i also like to folier feed when my plants are in shock.. it seems to speed recovery time..
"folier harmony" just the name makes me happy, im sure it will work wonders for your plants

Can you foliar feed with regular nutes or are there ones specifically for that type of application? I'm assuming that foliar feeding provides nutes to the plant a little bit faster than a normal feeding.

yes you can in a mild sose.. and yes they make special folier feeds just for the occasion of stress.. i like stay green by supernatural i use it weekly half way into flower..
folier harmony is another.. we will soon see how good it works..

I know the nutes I bought (BMO quad-pack) has a nutrient specifically for foliar feeding, but as far as other nutes go, I'm not positive. I know some nutrients will say on the side of the bottle they can be used as a foliar, but I'm not sure if this is true of all nutrients. If I were to guess, I'd say don't foliar feed with the nutrient unless it says you can, but that's just me being on the safe side.

right auzzie, folier feeding is one of those taboo talks like leaf prunning..
personally i like folier feeding but it can be harmfull if you dont do it correctly..

I just left a thread that got pretty heated over leaf pruning. I'm beginning to see that most things have pros/cons and you need to figure out what you're own style of growing is and what methods and techniques suit that.
