Organic / Natual Pest Repellants

I did an outdoor grow this summer in a patch of heavily vegetated field, and with lots of weeds in a vegetated field..... come... lots of pests unfortunately. From the 10+ plants I've grown outdoors this summer, I've experienced Deer or Animals eating my plants(one animal even fimmed my plant for me, lol, which is actually still left), the notorious holes in leaves, etc...

Guano's, fish emulsion, sea kelp extract, worm castings, and all the other common organic fertilizlers, which ones will attract and which ones will repel them.

I use / know alot of methods for some pest control. I tied fishing line about 3 ft off the ground around a set of 4 trees, about... 5' X 5'. This line has been highly effective at controlling deer, as where I am there are TONSSSSS. One time I left a plant a tad to close to the edge of the line... and pop! Some branches... and at one point, the whole entire top half of a plant... gone. So if you use this method make sure to keep plants away from neck length of deer! Lol. You can also use animal scents such as coyote and wolf piss, even human piss to keep away deer, but this washes away with rain.

However the pest I'm concerned about is the little buggers that leave holes in your leaves, and leave what looks like small brown poop behind... or something does. I've lost a lot of good potential bud brances to these little fuckers.

I'm looking for something that can control them for a good amount of time... requiring less visits to the site. I've used organic spray on pest killer sucessfully, but this needs to be re-applied after rains i'm pretty sure. Im interested in a good natural or organic pest killer that I can maybe add to the soil... so its throughout the plant... etc..

Any ideas or wise words of wisdom?

Kirby Get some Diamatious Earth, it kills damm near everything that crawls or flys. I got some at Home Depot for $ 7 for a three pound bag. The stuff is light as a feather so three pounds is a lot ! You have to dust it on a few times a grow, but everything the falls or blows off ends up on the ground, killing slugs, snails, and everything else that crawls. I also go some stuff just for grasshoppers, which sounds like whats bugging your plants there, called Final Act. It kills only grasshoppers, it has a bacteria that kills them in a few days on some food (bait) that looks like a cross between grain and oatmeal. I thing it cost about $ 8, but I've been using the same bag for two years.

Hell yeah thanks for the response. So it's those pesky grasshoppers that shit on my plants? Haha damn. As far as dusting on Diamatious Earth... just dust it on whenever plant problems are seen I'm assuming, and it will wash off with rain too, do, use whenever needed?

Is there anything that you can water in, that gets absorbed by the plant and acts as a natural pest repellent... because of some odor or taste or something?
