Organic nute help

Hi I was wondering if it is okay to use gh with tap water or will the cholorine kill off good bacteria.
That would feed plants ?

A lot of people leave their water out for 24 hours for chlorine to dissipate.

But it ultimately depends upon whether your water uses chlorine or chloramine.

The latter doesn't dissipate.

I read a study done once that monitored the effect of chlorinated water on bacteria colonies and they took a momentary hit in numbers but after 48 hours populations were back up to normal levels.
