Does anyone have any personal experience with organic pesticides?
Nicotine teas can work as a pesticide, but they can also spread tobacco mosaic virus to your cannabis plants. I won't risk it.I've been wondering and would nicotine be an effective organic pesticide? Like if you took raw tobacco leaf and make a concentrated tea of it to spray on the plants. And I'm sorry if this is thread jacking a little bit here. This is not my intention, it is to bring to light possibly a great organic (and pretty hardcore) pesticide.
Neem oil and pyretherin
Perhaps so called-ejuice could help this...what are your thoughts? Edit: oops prolly not organic. Says here:http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/pp/notes/oldnotes/tb1.htm that North Carolina loses 1-2% of their crops due to the virus, reckon that means they take precautions to keep it out of the product which means it is prolly safe to make a tea out of that product. I haven't tried though either lol someone do it and make a journal!Nicotine teas can work as a pesticide, but they can also spread tobacco mosaic virus to your cannabis plants. I won't risk it.
No, i ment BTk. Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki. Though there are other strains of BT, like the BTi you're referring to. I have just never used it. I have only used BTk for tomatoes and peppers. And sticky lungs.....I think you meant BTi
