Organic Soil Taste vs Hydro Taste

I would say that organic tastes better over synthetic anyday... Wether it be organic soil or organic hydro, it usually tastes better IMO.

I've grown hydro, and I've smoked hydro from very good, experienced growers. I personally grow organically and the taste is so much better, the stuff I grew hydroponically wasn't tasty at all, and the other hydro I had was very bland as well. The bud I grow has a taste that will linger on your palette for quite sometime, seriously tasty stuff. If anyone tells you that there is no difference, there is!

I started reading this article, and it's soil vs. hydro for sure, not organic vs. hydro... just an observation, he's not growing organically...
Organics definitely win in the taste and funk department, but honestly It's not by much if the hydro herb is done properly, flushed, and allowed to ripen/fade correctly. I think the reason msot people say organics taste WAY better than hydro is because the vast majority of hydro herb is not flushed and ripened well enough. Just my $.02.

I going to have to disagree with you jtrbushes, I don't believe the difference is made towards the end, they are different period. The hydro I grew was grown properly, the plants were healthy throughout, no burn or other problems, and they plants faded heavily and it was flushed with plain water for TWO weeks. Still does not compare at all to my organic buds, no way.
Hydro will be very good if done perfectly, but organics done perfectly will still blow it out of the water as far quality.

Has anyone noticed that the finished cured bud has a golden tint compared to chem grown erb? My 3 strains I grew organicaly all had the same muted golden/brown tint compared to the bright green from the chem grown weed. I do beleive its the trichrome color not the bud itself.

no one's goanna say it.. so i willl. its not not organic vs hydro.. its organic vs chem.. and hyrdo vs soil... hyrdo can be organic.. problend from botanicare works great... stink bud system users get 100% killer kind ... tastey.. ORGANIC HYDRO.. its just as tasty as organic soil... i've also noticed that certian strains will produce a different terpene combination in soil or hydro.. some smell and tast better organic soil.. some better organic hydro..

quit refering to your soil grows as organic.. as most arent as they use chems.. maybe a ph down.. lol.. to set your teas... no longer organic.. its hard to stay organic.. but pls quit refering to your soil as organics.. it might be organic.. but its still a soil grow.. i don't call my hydro grows organics... even though i is.. its hydro... i seen like 7 people refer to their soil grows as organics.. like because its soil its automatically organic... soil produces more COMPLEX terpens in the thc glands due to the roots availability to produce different kinds of root structures.. be it chord roots.. or fine nutrient hairs.. or water tap roots, where as hydro.. ( depending on what kind) produce usually one kind of root.. ( dwc.. produces massive chord roots.. and not too many fine hair roots in comparison with NO TAP ROOTS.. and aero is nothing but fine nute hairs.. and RDWC with no air gap.. aka heath style flooded.. is all the fine roots with taps......... i don't belive that i can tell a difference between the two both well grown..

Ive seen fire outta hydro, when someones pump caught, ha. jk I guess it could be ok, but if you want the best go w super soil. Buy, mix, plant, water, SMOKE. As opposed to buy, buy, buy, assemble, buy, assemble, populate, mix, temp, ph, fill, empty, rinse, repeat if necessary, 93 times daily... Is it worth it??? Id put supersoil nugs against hydro anyday of the week, period. Sorry hydro guys, just my opinion. You can TASTE the difference.

taste a product out of Subcools' super soil and a hydro form your local dispensary and I can guarantee you will be able to tell the difference.
