Just a quick look into my buddy's garden. Looks awesome.

Temps 75n-82d
Humidity ranged between 39%-50%
2 Area 51 sgs-160s
1 cheap 400w (real 200w) COB
1 cheap 270w multi spectrum led
2 135w Ufos
1 120w T5HO
4 65w CFLS.

big plants in 5 gal smart pots small plants in 2 gals

Oh and my bud uses nectar of the gods for nutes

Nice set-up! how far along are they? I use nectar too pro line!

Looking good. Has your buddy used side lighting on all of his runs, or has he tried with and without? Im trying to figure out if its even worth it to use CFLs like that, didnt notice much of a difference in my neck of the woods.

The big gals are 2 weeks and the smaller ones 1 week.
2 big super lemon haze
1 big LSD
1 big straw berry blue
All the small ones are super lemon haze. He is doing a side by side comparing nectar of the gods vs fox farm power nutrients for quality.

He ran these same strains three times now in a tent, first time doing a room. He had them laying around and we thought it would help under the canopy. The more leaves doing more photosynthesis the better?

Time to focus on the buds. Strawberry blue is in front, LSD next to it, everything else is super lemon haze

strains going: girl scout cookies(one turning purple=]]]]), sage and sour, cotton candy, super lemon haze,
darker green plant is cotton candy
2 area 51 sgs160, 2 diy vero18 builds 680 total watts +/- 5%
underside of my pants, isn't perfect. some using super soil, some on liquid nuts

just some notes to anyone who is new or looking for some insight.

~the most important part of growing, in my opinion, is watering on time but not to soon. water stress hurts your yield

~as you can see i have plants of different shades of green, i learned that plants need nitrogen the WHOLE time, not just veg.

~never try to overcompensate to fix your leaves, they are stuck *insert leaf problem* and will never be perfect again. fear not your plant will continue

~ DEFOLIATION...ive tested 7 different strains. it ONLY causes your buds to be smaller than what they could be. instead i remove leaves that are bunched up with other leaves and will only lead to mold.

- fabric pots are the way to go, even now i am seeing the difference between using plastic pots and fabric pots. more roots...more fruits

~WAIT for your buds to finish, if you think they are ripe wait another week...it will TOALLY be worth it. make sure those calyxes are plump. it doesn't matter about your hairs or trichs...

I have a question. So your saying not to pay attention to the colors of the trichomes and to wait for the calyxes to plump up?

yeah, tends to work better for me, when they get plump and ripe my girls start bending over. most of my strains all the hairs are red by then. trichomes change colors back and forth? that or i never look at the same spot even thought i have tried... i am by no means an expert, just my thoughts

Just popped a bunch of Sugar black rose seeds cause I'm looking for an awesome male to start breeding. Also will be getting some grand daddy purp to add more color to the genetic pool.

Yo, thorhax... How long did you take that critical super silver... Not a lot solid threads on this strain out there. The most popular is this dude batcave on another forum but he has some freaky quick pheno and it's not a great reference
