Starting my next chapter. I will try and keep just fact based, simple, and clean. No commentary just data.

Nutrients/Medium: Trying MaxiGro & Maxibloom with Happyfrog Soil. I have a custom recipe in an old journal but I’m trying to simplify. I also make several homemade teas, labs, ferments, Etc. I’ll list references for below.
Lights: Vegetative- Maxsisun 400 watt LED Flower- 1000 watt HPS, Solitek Digital Ballast, and a Raptor XXL hood.
Tent/Enviornment: 5x5 Tent, will be sealed with Everstar 10000 BTU AC/Dehumidifer and CO2. When HPS is installed it will be cooled from an intake and exhaust outside the tent.
Genetics: Will list in following post. Have to copy from last thread and edit.
IPM: Neem, Peppermint Hemp Castile Soap, Rosemary Oil, & switches to Spinosad in Veg regularly. (And I go bleach crazy weekly).

This is a closed journal and postings I would like to ask only be done by the people I tag or message, a list I’ll finish soon. Just not super good with people and this is suppose to be a relaxing hobby. I find it therapeutic as cool as that is I’m sure.

Open Pollination F2 of entire pack of Top Dawg- Sour Diesel BX4.

After my initial switch I ran into problems. My first watering was .5 tsp per gallon on all plants (Maxigro). Within 24 hours I started to see compounded issues [Below] with both Stardawg phenos, at first it appeared to be a P deficiency but I assumed it was a salinity problem since I had just fed. Flushed hard, normally I wouldn’t advise a flush without replacing nutrients but I need to be sure after cleansing salts what deficiencies would continue. Slight P continued on Stardawg. All other plants worked well. Today she began to show good recovery but still a slight P deficiency so both Stardawg were switched to Maxibloom @ .25 tsp per gallon at 6.2 PH and are recovering well. Purple Urkle was also switched since it was showing a slight K deficiency. The Super Lemon I must keep my eye on. If you look closely she reverted from 5 to 3 Leaf sets even though she appears overall healthy at first glance. I like to begin flower with a minimum of 5 blades.

Midtown Madness B, I expect to see a lot of weird stuff while revegging but the new growth appears healthy and finally beginning to see progress. When I have a rooted clone of the Midtown Madness B rooted flower can begin (And my entire crops overall health is ready for it)

Cabo San Luis, they will all be placed in a 5 gallon bucket today.

Lots of variation in my Mexican seeds. Very happy to see several narrow leaf phenotypes appear. They suffered a slight burn at 1/8 tsp per gallon but small flush and they are returning strong. First picture is before LST and second is after.


Clone mothers have all been replaced excluding Midtown Madness B.

Karma Sowahh arrived today. Got the 98’ SSH as a freebie. Have to go back for regs on the Old Red Sour.

Hopefully the next update is the start of flower.

Flowering Day 5:
All plant on 7g/1gal Maxibloom except Stardawg Corey and all Mexican which are both on 3.5g/1gal. Stardawg Guava showing slight burn when pushed to 1/2 so she will stay at 1/4 from now on. I will increase feedings and add mycos if it becomes a deficiency problem at any point.

A look at one of my favorite Mexican. Most Sativa in structure/appearance of the front runners, definitely male.

Mexican beginning to show gender. We were at 21: 3 males, 5 Unsexed, 1 removed for possible herm (overly cautious), and the rest are female.


GG4 Josey Cut snips I rooted and transplanted, also have snips coming next week from Archive Dispensary (Also Josey). Swim will have the two GG4 Josey, Revegged Nana Glue Bedhead, & Chimera 2 to determine the Glue Keeper.

Hammerhead- Chiquita Banana S1:
I’ve read the entire thread on icmag, I know these have herm tendencies and must be hunted, these were given to me in a trade. These are up for a ridiculous amount of money. I even told the person after we worked out the deal. He still trusted me with them. Im going to tunt for stable females, self it and cross it to my Jaws Banana Kush f10 they had up on OES for too much as well.

Quick Update No Photos:
Removed Ghost OG as well. Since I will be doing seed runs I will be testing my last 7 mothers for HLVD with TUMI (will be getting down to 3-4 after that, before possibly) before I open any more seeds. I will not be taking in any new clones going forward with the exception of a verified Sour Dubb clone only.

All clone-stock is on 7 grams per gallon Maxibloom and doing great. Removed another herm from Mexican, it does make me nervous but the point of using this stock is because although Mexican is probably not as pure as it once was, I still assume it is less polyhybridized then most seedstock and still bred in large fields where open pollination occurs. It should be interesting to see the results of these crosses and especially F2s.

Notes:
Clones are all on 1 tsp per gallon. Not using scale anymore, it doesn’t feel necessary at my size. Chimera 2 is a heavy feeder, full strength early. Will move to 1.5-2 tsp per gallon next feeding for Chimera 2. Underfed and showing symptoms (N deficiency) most severely. Most plants in tent could use more N. Was at 6.1 PH. Adjusted to 5.8 for this. Pulled all males from the Mexican. I have enough seeds coming I think.

My favorite plants in here are Midtown Madness (Dumb Name) and Super Lemon Haze Franco’s cut. SLH Franco’s is the most sour lemon smelling plant I’ve ever come across. Using the Stardawgs with the Diesel open run for an Acid Dawg Remix then will likely drop. Couple other side projects.

*I’m going to post a personal favorite list of breeders and their company with small summaries. I have old list but they’re not great, this list will be top 5. Mendelbrot, Shantibaba, and Mean Gene come to mind. There is very few breeders/brands I plan on or am interested in running gear from outside this list after I make my own seedstock.

Notes:
About 15 years of growing and I have never made my own seeds. It’s interesting to watch. The stigmas turn color amongst pollination. The bracteole swells covering the seedpod before new healthy stigmas begin to grow again. Almost no swell on the actual bracts seems to be occurring until new stigma growth appears. The fastest to begin growing healthy new stigma are the Mexican. The Mexican is definitely expressing what I’d consider older genotypes and have a broad expression I will photograph later. Capitate-Stalked trichomes are much smaller in size compared to almost everything in my tent. One expression has a almost greasy appearance that is comparable to expressions you would see commonly many moons ago.
