need to do a little clean up.

a few of the seedlings appear to be stretching, -- is the light too far from the seedling??

these pots have bad bad drainage holes,
furthermore -- I intentionally compacted my coco coir, and now regret it.

Will potentially move these pots to outdoors at the end of the month and then maybe use better planters or go with DWC, -- (I do NOT want to here the fish tank pump running, so maybe no DWC)

Any recommendations as far as planters for my closet space?

Will probably go with another 10-11 pound brick of coir, unless there is a cheaper option than buying coir and pots for $20 USD x 2 = $40 USD total for coir and pots..

the price of DWC setups on amazon is coming down, I see I can get a tote and some net pots/ hydroton / rock wool and the pump / airstone for like $30 USD~

Looking for a number of pots that will fit all of the brick of expanded coco coir, so there is no waste~

Advice???

Might grow only 1 vegetable next time,

my rose clones seem to be failing, I haven't been misting them.

Again, looking for advice on how to maximize the potential of my closet

- thinknig buttercrunch lettuce, hell, -- maybe, just maybe a little bit of pot????

I have issues keeping the light out, so I dont know if I could do more than veg pot.

Also, the closet is facing me, and the light is hanging inside of it-- it is almost aimed right at me!

A wise solution is likely a piece of screen over the closet opening, that way it dims the light coming out of the closet.

after the cleanup -
wondering how far to have my 175watter for the seedlings, noticing some stretching.

I've got my pots balancing on water bottle caps atop the saucers to promote drainage and air flow. -- I never had the problem before with standing water / water logged coir... Not sure if my little holes in pots are to blame or my tiny saucers, or the fact that I compacted the coir, -- I squeezed the sides of my pots to help loosen the coir and bring aeration down into the roots.

I've been watering my seedlings the last few days with roughly .5mL each of flora micro, flora grow, and flora bloom in a 16.9 fl oz water bottle. I've been giving each 6" pot - 20mL of this nutrient solution.
pH around 6, -- dont even think I needed the pH up & down...

Shout out to all of the other air cooled growers

Lavender. Dill. But best in a test also is tobacco. It’s so sticky that any bugs that land on it get stuck. And if they try and suck it I think the nicoteen kills them.

Clean :? (EEEk, -- worried about my pharmaceutical cocktail,I feel concerned choking that stuff down, topamax, trazadone, zyprexa, -- everynight, -- from one crisis moment!

I'm wondering if I can poke hole in my coco coir or insert some kind of tube with holes in it to improve aeration / drainage somehow?
