you should remove the old dead leaves from your pot mate doesnt take long and critters love those conditions

Thanks SxIstew and dlftmyers! It looks close. Lemon Skunk - Weird plant. One started turning purple, the other stayed green. they took their time showing flowers and the leaves on both plants grew straight up. Here's more pictures.

A bit of Bud porn of my Femi Skunk 1# from seedsman at around week 7 of flowering (at least a week left) been M-lined a bit to have 8 top`s but also a lot of smaller top`s popping up, in a 18L square plastic pot in my own soil mix (20% perlite 20% coco 60% organic seedling soil) don't use much other then a bit of Bat guano, Maerl and molasses, had a bout 8 week`s from seed under some T5HOs before moving them to the LED and 12/12 with a few repots along the way, is under 280W of true LED watt (120x3W) customized with 16x 6500K 8x455 and the rest is 630/660 and a few 700 led`s for flowering

and a clone of her, must say, I really like the short stature and tight Nod space of the Seedsman's Skunk 1#

I just use my Droid Razr M camera phone for pics. No zoom, might crop sometimes to enlarge the focused area to see more detail.

It's like an 8MP 1080p HD camera, so it's not bad for a phone.

yea Im quite happy with both the strain and the LEDs

btw

compared to the LSD from Barney`s I usually grow this smell a lot more fruity and more like sweet lemon rather then citrus/skunk like the LSD dose

those colours are mad is the lights adding to colour intensity

Hey Prosperian, Good to hear from you. How's the brewing going or are you still having fun just sampling? Thanks for helping me out in my early days, your encouragement was great . Thanks to all my friends here, who jumped in to help me problem solve rather than look down their nose at the newbie. 4 harvests, 5 grows and it keeps rolling. It'll be year in a couple weeks. This year i will be working on training the girls. Happy growing!
Hey man, you did it all yourself, learned, dropped the money, and grew your operation. Glad you're here and part of the thread.

its a Bulldog/apollo light, but I had it customized to replace my HPS for flowering, so I had em take out a few "blue`s" and add some more "red`s"

it have a total of 120 LEDs all on 3watt but they don't run em max (or they wouldn't last long) so it have a actually power draw on about 280W (not 360W) this model have double lenses on ("magnifying glasses") so the penetration is a great deal better then the first and second generation of LED grow light`s according to my cheap light meter (me sure in Lumens) they are close to my old 600W HPS and with a better spectrum (and according to my +5 grows so fare they preform just as well, maybe a bit different but over all the result is as good) don't believe you can compare LEDs with HIDs but if I should I would say it match a 400W and more and run cool and use 280W instead with no bulb changes for +5 years, but cost is also like 5x the HID light

IMO a good grow light cost +500$

look in to Area-51 if your in the US

or LED light zone if your in the UK/EU

I've been thinking about getting an LED panel for my flowering closest to expand it a little bit. I'm running a 600 but it's in a closest so I only have the space for 4x2, so I'm missing out on all that space. I can go longer but no wider, and I figured another 400w would be too much heat and too long. I just need something that will cover a 2x2 space so I can grow 6x2.

well then a smaller panel would do Im sure, I got a smaller/cheaper panel on sale (220€ or 300$) to add to the Bulldog panel I had so Im able to cover a bit more space, the same space as my old 600W (only down side with LEDs is the space the cover, core cover) about 3x4ft

but there are also them LED spots or bulbs if all you need is to cover a bit more room/the edges of your grow

seen others use em with good success, think I would go for the 2700/3000K but if it was to add to a HPS light the 5000K/pure white might be the way to go, would supplement the HPS great

Alright, great thanks for the info. I'll start my search. I read somewhere that about 180w of LEDs would cover a 2x2 foot area. Is that correct?

depense, but sounds about right, my "cheap" panel is on 192W and can easily cover two medium size plants in a 1,5x2,5 area my bulldog can probably cover 2,5x3

but agin it depend on a lot of stuff, there are also them Hans panels (low watt panels) that give good results with even less power used, look legit enough but IMO more suitable for miniature/stealth grows, put it is possible to get results with even less power used, also saw a thread in here the other day where one made his own DIY out of a old diamond panel with two 50W 2700K Cree chips I believe it was and got great results from one plants in a scrog

Alright cool. Those hans panels look nuts.

I am normally a DIY type of guy but when it comes to a light fixture I rather have someone that knows what they are doing do it.

So what kind of panel would you suggest for about 3ft plant that I'll train out 2ft by 2ft.
