That is likely, sure. I mostly agree, the only point I'm trying to make is that from that list it seems that Russia isn't holding hands with the west, we are still distrustful and in a power struggle. It seems Putin is seeing what he can get away with, and I honestly don't know what the end game is.

ok. it is like the drug war. the name is largely a facade , so the war is real, the pretense is a lie. Obama spent around 700 billion on war. he often choose his own targets and claimed to be fighting isis. he drone bombed the shit out of south and Southwestern Asia and around the world in the name of the war on terror . so he fought isis more than any president.
