With all those plants and all that land, why don't you plant in ground too? The one in my post is 1 plant. There are 2 smaller ones that I nearly killed behind it and planted later

My ground is shiite brother, like real shit clay. I would have to install tiling/drainage. So i do mounds when i go big here. it's just i wasn't ready this year for a big grow. So i went a different direction.

At harvest can you post your timeline, soil/nutes and training used? I'm curious on how long, and how to take a plant to it's maximum potential like that.
The strain in the right forground is called The Work, from Lyme Rising Farms. Sprouted in early April, put outdoors June 1st, in a garden area we have been amending for about 15 years. In the hole I put about 5 gallons of my friend's home made super soil and about 2 gallons of my home made worm compost. The only feeding I have done was about 4 gallons of worm compost tea about a week ago and it has been watered with well water. That's all I have done, other than spraying with Zerotol and Oxyphos from Biosafe, twice this year. And I mulched very heavily, 6 inches deep with prairie hay from my neighbor. The plant in this pic came up on its own, in early April,PXL_20220912_192706061.jpg in unamended soil and has not been fed anything, just watered with well water. Cannabis in the ground gets big on its own, depending on the genetics, of course.

I really didn't intend to go big this year, so I delayed my usual schedule about a month. And I never top outdoor plants.

Ah so not topping is the trick. Can you go over your super soil, mulch, and tea?

This is Humboldt Dream Queen, germinated April 1st, and in ground first week of May. Same timeline as yours except it was mainlined to 32 colas, and is 6'1 in height (preferable to hide behind the fence). When planting in ground, I dug a 2x2x2 feet deep hole and filled it with 5-6 gallons of costco miracle grow organic in ground soil, fed fox farms trio + calmag, watered with collected rain water thru out veg, during flowering switched over to city (chlorinated) hose water. One day, I want to grow a plant that looks like yours, minimal larf though (which is also why I mainline). Thank you

I don't top because I want the least amount of density, and I don't to make it easier for the main stem to split. My friend runs a local grow store and is a student of soil biology and created a proprietary blend which I had used indoors once, with great success! He formulates it so that you don't have to feed a 6 to 8 week veg, then flip to flower indoor grow, if you are using at least 7 gallon pots. In other words, a pretty hot but diverse soil. The worm tea was just 2 gallons of my worm compost in a 55 gallon drum with about a cup of fish emulsion and about a cup of honey. Ran an aerator for about 24 hours, to get the beneficial microbes to proliferate, and then gave about 4 gallons to each plant. Just did this this one time. The more mulch you can put on an outdoor plant, the better! Keep the roots cooler and slow the moisture loss, and provide continously breaking down, compost.

Your plant looks outstanding! I don't think I have anything to teach you about growing a healthy plant! And I also use rainwater barrels! I do feel like my well water, even though the Ph is high, is well recieved by the plants in the ground.
