Out of the Box… Pandora Escapes

spiceysativa, save the small one! in my ealier post i said out of 6 females 5 looked like clones... well the odd man out was smaller and had thinner leaves. it also produced the most trich covered buds my budroom has produced thus far! i ended up keeping a different pheno (i had to start my next round before they finished budding and chose the plant that looked the best at the time... wrong!) but will very soon pop some more pandy seeds just to find the small bud pheno.

Tell me more about this narrow leaf pheno. You called it the "small bud pheno", was it smaller yield, or just smaller buds? I may take some clones and keep a mom or two. I usually like to grow something new each round, but who knows. I can't decide.

spicy,
the buds were smaller and the yeild was lower. a little extra veg time and training will go a long way with her. i have the very last nug rom her in front of me right this second. looks just straight badass, downright glass coated, and has a subtly sweet smell with a slightly earthy undertone. her budsize was very uniform top to bottom, while all the other phenos had much larger buds on the more "dominant" branches. i took her at day 56, would try her at day 59 if i could do it all over again. 50% supersoil was dead on for her, started to fade about day 45. hope that helps!

Sweet... I've got about 1/2 super soil in their pots. I think I'll go ahead and take clones of both phenos and make bonsai mamas. I need to practice cloning at some point, what better time than now?

I had two females and one definitely had a wider JTR stlye leaf, while one had a narrower leaf. I actually enjoyed the wider leaf one better, it had a nice mix of JTR lemon and SQ funky cherry. The smaller leaf pheno smelled more of fuel to me and also had smaller buds. They were both pretty caked in resin and both very potent to smoke. Overall I liked the taste and bigger yield of the "wider leaf pheno"
I don't think I've seen or heard of a Pandy pheno that isn't just super strong awesome smoke!

So far, I like the structure of the wider leaf ones better. They have thicker, stronger branches, and are a little less compact. The narrow leaf pheno is staying really short with tight nodes, but growing some giant fan leaves that are shading out the branches I'm trying to establish. I think it was less fond of being topped than the other 3.

Very interesting smell during veg. Kindof a mix of skunkiness and coffee aroma.
